    That is not true, we are not disagreeable, like at all.... just kidding.
    I have to say that we do hide something from other people, so we are not entirely honest, and that is that we care a lot about other people. The more we develop Fe, the more we become sensitive to other people needs, and since we are Fi polar we suck at feelings so I keep it mostly for myself. So I will say that Fe is like our hidden agenda, it is the reason we like being around people and why we love to make people laugh even at the expense of our own selves. The older we get, the further develop that Fe and indeed become more sensitive but for other people, never for ourselves.
    We have Fi polar so still we dont take things personally, but the more we develop that Fe the more empathetic and caring we become. But it might never seem like it, from the outside looking in, because I am afraid to be openly be sensitive, I am always afraid to get close to someone and be rejected, so we put a wall between the person and our emotions. There is not single person in my life I have really opened up emotionally, but I am sharing this because I am slowly trying to break that wall.

      Oh for sure the Fe gets prominent w age. ENTPs care a lot about being liked, hence the sociable joking around.

    As an ENTP...I don’t have a lot of solid unchanging opinions, but when I do Im EXTREMELY opinionated cause I have considered the other side and thought it through a LOT. I have only a few strong opinions and people hate me for them.

    as an ENTP i can tell you that the reason why the ones you knew complimented other girls in front of their girlfriends is a mix of two things 1)they didn't even think about it and just blurted it out 2) and because we kinda just assume that people know what we are thinking in a way, especially if we've already told them or trust them and are comfortable with them. in our brains it goes something like "i'm just saying something nice, i wanna be with you, not with her, why would i be your boyfriend if that wasn't the case? you are clearly the one i like, why are you upset?" because we are weird like that. It's something i struggle with a lot

      Ahh interesting, does come across differently to other personality types. I saw an entp's gf cry about this in private. :(

      I agree. I do stuff like this and my ENFP girlfriend broke up with me. Still don’t know why, but I think things like this may have caused it. She was horrible at communicating her problems with me, if she had then I could have resolved it. Instead she chose to let it fester until we broke up. 🙄

    • @mwadewda7974
      @mwadewda7974 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah and it takes an ENTP years to work that out on what upsets people, because we have chosen a mate, so, if I comment on someone why would it matter? You already have my heart type of deal.

  • @farrex0
    @farrex0 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    About your ENTP friends, I don't think I have ever done something similar. I have been an asshole but there was always a reason behind it, unless they are trying to be nice and have no idea how it comes out or how it affects their gf.
    But I do have to let you in as to how I see relationships, I don't know if we all ENTPs are similar on this subject, but it might be the reason behind why they act that way. I fear meaningful relationships, because the more I appreciate a person the more I fear that person might leave me or I fear hurting them. So for me it is way easier to involve myself romantically with someone I do not care about emotionally.

    • @ToriH
      @ToriH  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah i think they don't know how they're coming across due to weak Fe

  • @P4ndaBear
    @P4ndaBear 4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    Actually Fe causes us to be very agreeable despite our higher need to speak truth. I'll always speak my mind but at the same time i regret causing that negative energy and want to remedy it.
    As far as partners and their emotional consideration it seems to only have had that issue when i dated a xSTx/xSFx/xNFx type. Most of my xNTx partners never had an issue because we're upfront about how we handle ourselves and receive information the same way we give it. Any NT - NT partnership has an understanding knows we never want to come from a place of malice, just facts.

    • @ToriH

      Idk the entps i know dont seem to be agreeable as their default mode. Tho theres the Fe side too.

      @@ToriH Because our NE/TI is bigger than our Fe. Think of it like theres 3 people one is an adult, one is a teenager, and one is a small child. The adult and teenager are disagreeable but the tiny child (our Fe) is always in the background crying to keep the peace. We always listen to them after the fact so you'll seldom see us show regret/remorse but we feel it.

    • @ToriH

    As a 36 year old ENTP the T does lean toward consideration for others, not because it's good it's because people stop complaining, and it's more efficient to not upset people, if someone's upset it means we have to do more things, if people are happy then they leave us alone more and I don't have to hear complaints.

    Our sampling of experiences within each MBTI personality type is naturally biased, which is understandable, but it's important to recognize that. Anecdotes can be misleading because there are many variations within each type that we might not have encountered. While your assessment of ENTPs was mostly accurate, I believe you may have interacted with some particularly obnoxious and immature individuals, which could have skewed your view. Although there might be a slightly higher chance of ENTPs being provocative, their personality type shouldn't be broadly characterized as obnoxious based on limited encounters.
