I have been in the exact situation, I would beg my supervisor to give me more responsibility, because I would become bored of easy jobs. ENTPs are the best! I am an INFJ male and my ex was an ENTP. However, she broke up and then ghosted me for her career. Initially I was angry and heartbroken, but I later realized that True love is not always being together, but rather doing anything for the happiness of the person you love, even if it means separating from them. I didn't want to get in the way of her dreams and so I let her go. I still love her very much and I pray to God that she has a great life ahead. After she left, I was just waiting to fall in love with another ENTP or maybe an ENFP. But I never met anyone. It's been 4 years now, but I am still waiting for my soulmate, I hope I meet her soon. God how I wish there were more ENTPs in the world. You guys are so damn amazing and yet less than 3%, women even fewer....tough luck finding a soulmate.
ENTP is the best gift or prize some one can have, we are the best optimizers and also paladins. if one of us ignored or ghosted you means they are disappointed or got hurt numerous times ( we will never notice you that we got hurt, we just trying to upgrade you so you can fix that ) and have nothing to do. i will more forward like always. but don`t worry INFJs and INFPs are the only people that can makes us interested in them. its just a matter of potential after that.

took the personality test and got ENTP, thought it was wrong because i wasnt very extroverted...i hate small talks, or conversing for no reason(like say, greeting someone i know) and i mostly imagine different scenarios or talk to my self.
You may be an INTP then. Myself, I definitely became much more extroverted over time. Still dont enjoy meaningless small talk, but have become much better at socializing and far less shy.
@Tiwana Moulton I took the test and at first got INFJ and INTP. Both felt very relatable to me, that got me thinking. I'm not checking every personality type and have to say that I can see myself in every personality type. My conclusion, these mbti types are as legit as your horoscope.
This explained a lot of things to me. I worked in a call center once. The once charming me became so impatient that even my TL was shocked. One year was too much for me. Now as a teacher, even teaching the same subject for 4 consecutive semesters bored me out of my mind. Let me just say that my notebook turned into a notebook for songwriting, coffee-making, poetry writing, and investment all in one year. I am glad that I was given at least an insight as to why I behave the way I do but, it can get really frustrating.
as an ENTP i dont really see myself as super argumentative. But, i do tend to look at things from a different pov even if i dont agree with it, which means i can get along with alot of different people; and might seem a bit odd because of my strange pov. i do hate small talk and possibly might act awkward because my head is somewhere else and much rather would talk about deeper things.
@@Strange9952 YOOOOOO damn finally someone that voices the same doubts ive had regarding the whole mbti compatibility thing (well maybe not the whole thing but at least in the entp context i find the information divergent from personal experience; the people i find myself being most attracted to/find intriguing or really resonate with are rarely infjs but rather intps/entps most prominently. to the point where i have developed this xNTP radar sorta thing that actually turns out to be accurate most of the time. you can just tell they percieve things in a similar way you do and thinks differently from what we consider normal people...they are so distinguishable (and so charismatic to me) fr. can someone else relate
It often takes hours for me to discuss some interesting topics with my intp husband. The longest we discussed for 12 hours skipping meals around how to set up a system to distribute chores. 🤪and we abandon that system the third day
I grew up being the only child among my siblings who talked back to my parents and openly questioned their views. I was the most talkatike and most open about what I wanted. My siblings thought I was cocky and arrogant even selfish. They may still see me like this.
I use to think I was dysfunctional because I couldn’t really be friends with a person until we had argued at least once. Is arguing a love language? 😂 Mental-sparing is probably a better description for it. 😅 I fell in love with my husband because the first conversation we had was an argument. He stood his ground and when I proved him wrong he still liked me after. 😂 I know. I have high standards. 🤣
As an ENTP, I hate it when people agrees with me. Unless it's in an argument with another person. So if I am arguing with another person and someone from the audience agrees with me, only then will I accept someone agreeing with me.

Im an entp ( apparently). Whenever I listen to a topic with two sides I only ever what to know which is right. not to me. And not to them. but what just IS right- Idk does anyone else feel like this?
I do the exact same thing when debating, because you know, I defend whats right. So when I'm debating against a closed minded person, it just gets so damn frustrating. Because you can't win, it's like debating with an idiot, they won't change their mind nor accept whats right rather than what benefits them or their beliefs, as well as so their ego doesn't get shattered.
The emtp's are awkward one really got me, I hate small talk since I don't know what to say and am always thinking about something bigger that the person wouldn't understand
I have known for a long time I’m ENTP… over the years diplomacy has gotten better. I have also realized with a manager that understands my way… we cannot be beat. Period.
Hello, ENTP here Does anyone else that shares my personality type find themselves doing things differently just to experiment? I know the video talks a lot about being in our heads and experimenting theoretically, but like actually doing a thing. Such as using a fork with the less dominant hand just to see if you can, or something. I know the example is a bit goofy but there are lots of other things that I do just to kind of experiment with. Flirting is something really fun to test out. See what does and doesn't work for example lol.
I love to use my non-dominant hand to do tasks, it’s so interesting to see how the brain and body tries to compensate while making new synapses. Or if there is a recipe I’ve made following the directions to the T the first time then seeing how close I can get without measuring or looking it up again and do it just from memory. I also tend to play devils advocate to observe how tightly someone holds on to an idea of something or how they view themselves. Like if someone seems to take themselves too seriously I’ll bring my inner child out to the max to poke the bear or if there doesn’t seem to be enough respect or serious tone I’ll bring out the stone face critic. It’s all a big experiment 🤗
Yes, but it's not necessarily just to experiment but because I generally believe there's ALWAYS room for improvement. Additionally, doing what everyone else does just doesn't sit well with me. Logically speaking, we're never going to improve as a species if everyone does what everyone does. One way or another, someone has to shake things up and I have no problem taking that role, even at the risk of making them worse (mistakes are the best teacher)
Christ... I told a girl I was talking to that I didn't believe in the personality types because there's so much nuance to personalities. She told me to take the test and after much push back, I relented. I was wrong.
I have always wondered why some people get so tired and defeated when they have have a debate some ppl even dislike me, whereas I was just warming up and my feelings towards them never changed even when they say something i dont agree with. Lol. I now also understand why am more silent when people are having smalltalk, so dam boring lol😅
This video is so good it revealed the truth about the habits we do and beacause of this habits i really suffred from being told to stop doing that or just learn when i tell them what i think and i really got into some big problems because of it also family problems but this is not my fault and i hope that people watch this video to understand us
This is true but I’m actually excellent at small talk (but I can dread it) but I grew up from the time I was a kid waiting tables in my parents bar so I think has trained me on being good and easy at small talk
I hate the fact that I am an Entp At first I was proud to be this manti but then the struggles and constant short black deep dives that come with being a member of Entp club is mentally exhausting and frustrating…

@@PsychologyRefresh I'm trying to figure out why Ne doms are drawn to the Ni doms which are both introverted types. I've heard some say they like the mystery.
@@violet18 as an ENTP I can say that, personally, I am usually not attracted to introverts in general nor do I find them interesting but I do like Ni doms because they are mysterious, I take getting to know them as a challenge. Plus I definitely like their ability to understand the way I think and, not only respect it, but also appreciate it, while other introverts might get annoyed. I wouldn't say that the way I am attracted to Ni doms is exclusively romantic tho, I have an INTJ boyfriend and an INFJ sister and the reasons I appreciate them are more or less the same: they are not afraid to challenge me, they set clear boundaries, if they are not in the mood for a debate they state it clearly instead of dismissing me, they have deep knowledge about specific subjects and they are glad to share it with me, they teach me control and order and are never disrespectful. So in my experience Ni doms just help Ne doms to grow as individuals, which is often exactly what we want, while also picking our interest by being so mysterious. Anyway this is actually an interesting topic, I will bring this up with other Ne doms, I am curious to hear what they have to say, thank you. 1. Yep. I challenge others to think not just to push other people’s buttons… unless trolling online. 2. Yep. It causes serious arguments. 3. Sure thing. I cannot count how many people say “where do you come up with this stuff?!” Not in the sense of conspiracy theory or something critical but rather to praise some original joke or story. 4. Just got accused of not caring about others tonight. 5. I obsess over rules and laws to push limits. Not a good trait when employed by others. 😂 6. I have limits as I have learned to avoid conflicts with people I do not respect or people I know I cannot change from their ways. 7. Adhd or entp? Probably one and the same. 8. This one I disagree with. I vet people who are worthy of debate. I do not feel uneasy unless it is just someone I do not like and that is not common.
Im an ENTP btw its not about knowledge though XD. Its strictly personal. Nothing makes us happier when pushing some one else’s button and proving a point wrong to them
Whoa, whoa, whoa. I don’t know if I *like* to push people’s buttons…I just think it’s a necessary thing to do every once in awhile to truly get to know something. Why you gotta point fingers, man? 😂

Yeah, i’m ENTP woman and my husband is INFJ - match made forever😊 I wish you luck

took the personality test and got ENTP, thought it was wrong because i wasnt very extroverted...i hate small talks, or conversing for no reason(like say, greeting someone i know) and i mostly imagine different scenarios or talk to my self.
Thanks for sharing!
I can easily relate to this. Entp`s are the most introverted extroverts(ambivert) so it all make sense.
I felt the same way.
Thanks for sharing!
Honestly! I used to be a top performance at customer service job too but after several months, I was just not feeling it anymore.

i love annoying or bothering other people (in a half joking way) to find out their personalities, their boundaries, etc. it's amazing
as an ENTP i dont really see myself as super argumentative. But, i do tend to look at things from a different pov even if i dont agree with it, which means i can get along with alot of different people; and might seem a bit odd because of my strange pov. i do hate small talk and possibly might act awkward because my head is somewhere else and much rather would talk about deeper things.
These videos are amazing! I love the narrator, script, and edit style. You’re making me go down the MBTI rabbit hole again - ENTP

I am ENTP. I need INFJs to be my friends. An army of them
Great to hear!
why INFJ? Im new to these stuff... Is there a graph that shows us compatibilities with other types???
As an ENTP i find the whole concept of us being compatible with INFJs to be unfounded, we are better of with people similar to us, like other NTs

I don't think you use it in the right way
I do the exact same thing when debating, because you know, I defend whats right.

Hello, ENTP here
Does anyone else that shares my personality type find themselves doing things differently just to experiment?
I know the video talks a lot about being in our heads and experimenting theoretically, but like actually doing a thing. Such as using a fork with the less dominant hand just to see if you can, or something. I know the example is a bit goofy but there are lots of other things that I do just to kind of experiment with. Flirting is something really fun to test out. See what does and doesn't work for example lol.
Thank you for this comment!
Yes, it's central to the devil's advocate approach
Yes for sure.
This video is so good it revealed the truth about the habits we do and beacause of this habits i really suffred from being told to stop doing that or just learn when i tell them what i think and i really got into some big problems because of it also family problems but this is not my fault and i hope that people watch this video to understand us
Thank you so much!

Serious question for research purposes:
Why are Ne doms attracted to introverts in a romantic way?
-INFJ
What's your take on that?
@@PsychologyRefresh I'm trying to figure out why Ne doms are drawn to the Ni doms which are both introverted types. I've heard some say they like the mystery.
@@violet18 Very interesting topic, definitely worth digging deep into it!
(English is not my first language so I hope I expressed myself clearly)
@@violet18 That's a good point.l think the search for stimaulation is the reason.l am also attracted to Ni dom.

6. I have limits as I have learned to avoid conflicts with people I do not respect or people I know I cannot change from their ways.
