I have a 2002 chevy suburban 5.3L 2wd 310,000miles. Just maintain it, they'll last forever. I haven't had to swap an engine or transmission. Starts and drives just fine.

5.3L Suburban as a "tow vehicle".
What in the blue hell. They have 2500 modes, 1500 model with 6.0L, Yukon Denali's with 6.2L. All better than an old tired 5.3

Grizz 2 if I was to tow something & I wanted a family vehicle, I would get a 2500 Suburban because it can tow more pounds than the 1500 but although the 2500 is a little more expensive than the 1500, it is definitely worth buying in case if I want a family vehicle but still had the ability to tow & most of these Suburban 2500s are for government use

@@gc99289 Newsflash. 5.3s have the same power as a 6.0 liter however.
Plus , GMC/Chevy discontinued the 6 liter and is continuing the 5.3 and sticking with the 6.2 since the 5.3 makes power as the 6.0.
However, I would go with the 6.2.
