    Thank you, Sensei! These videos keep getting better. The annotations showing the name the techniques, the two simultaneous angles, etc. are very helpful! As always, the small bits of humour scattered throughout are always a fun part of all of your videos. Kudos for all the work behind the scenes with the editing, too. I love seeing how this channel has grown over the past year!

    When doing a tutorial it's important to know that your left is the viewer right. So when instructing on video always do the form in the opposite direction so the viewer doesn't get lose

      Hello!
      In some of our Kata videos we do perform the Kata facing away from the camera so that the viewer can follow, but you are right - we must always be cognizant of the mirror effect :)
      Hoping to film a Kata video with all the Kata in order. Watch this space!
      Thank you for commenting and watching 😁

    May I suggest, as we both are from the same Jundokan lineage and I'm just two sensei's short so what do I know, just a few small details to add? For a morote-gedan-barai, there is a short turn of fists' tettuis up at the end, not leaving them naturaly on the angle. And a first hojo-uke is just a half one, from the central line outside (the next one is a full circle, because these are two different bunkai). But DAYEICS (do as your editor-in-chief says, because she cuts and pastes here!), of course. :)

    • @GojuRyuKarateCentre
      @GojuRyuKarateCentre  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Truly these are the small details that are the signature of Jundokan! When I first learned Seiyunchin (also was direct Jundokan lineage) the fists did tilt up to show the tetsui.
      At one stage in my training, the hojo uke was a big move - I miss the drama of that a little bit.
      As always, a delight to hear from you! 🙇🏻‍♀️

      @@GojuRyuKarateCentre : indeed, these from Shoreikan and Meibukan lineage, not mentioning renegades from Higa's and Yamaguchi's, are doing it wrong. :o)
