The Saga Crew encountered a problem when they almost lost one of their fishing cages. Captain Jake Anderson was also worried that Deckhand Bob was not putting in enough effort. Despite these challenges, the crew overcame them and caught an impressive 350+ pound haul of fish.

Captain Jake Anderson has learned from the best. He is especially talented at building morale.
Really technical fishing, Jake does a great job explaining it. He's managing, but communicating and motivating in a positive fashion at the same time.
He seems like a real good Captain to work for.

Interesting, its just dawned on me this decade and the next are where we try out women as chiefs and leaders. Their biggest handicap are weak hands so they cant work up the chain of command. But who knows,maybe they will bring an unique perspective and thinking rarely seen in the industrious world. Only time will tell😎❤❤

All Jake had to do was turn to starboard as they threw the buoys if the current was that strong. It’s not that tough bc you can get back on track very quickly, it’s just kicking the wheel away from the line and buoys.

and if you notice after that throw he throttle 1 front and 1 back, thats turning as well

I've been at sea for 20 years. Women at sea have different rules and are treated very differently. Modern equipment like automated winches have made it more equal, women would have struggled with man handling the ropes years ago.

With all do respect and my adoration of women. I don’t want one near me where physical strength and testosterone rage are required to complete a job. Is DC so desperate they need to fuel a female tv market. On the other hand my morning ferry captain was a woman. I’m totally cool with that. There are some jobs not suited for women. Slinging traps on a crab boat is one them.
Men never cease to amaze me. Men are always making fun of women who don't live up to the hype of equality. And love to bring up equal rights equal treatment when it comes to hitting women who hit first. Yet when women are actually pulling their weight and trying to earn their spot. Men will still whine saying they don't belong here.
