Ice on a boat is no joke. Makes her very unstable and even more topheavy than she already is. Boat could flip over before you even realize you're in trouble. Ice is what killed Destination and Scandies Rose. Having it on the deck is just as bad as having water in the hull, both will kill you very fast unless you stay one step ahead of it and prevent it from getting too bad.
So I have a question you know those cold lines of water inside racecar suit why don’t they run warm water through the hand rails and other rails on the boat where ice chunks up or am I over thinking it
My best advice, find your way to Dutch harbor by getting on a fishing trawler and if you really want to crab then you go find a job while you're in Dutch
8:33 the dude didn't even fall that hard and he broke his fall with the rail. He's fine. Either he's overdramatic or the show wanted to make it seem more serious than it was. And why'd the dude on the far right back up out of the camera's view? seems like it might have been staged. 8:54 then he gets right back up like it never happened lol
Why don't they have soler panels that absorbe heat to melt the ice? Is there anything they have invented that can use sun rays to charge and heat the ice off?
