Anko was probably the most misused character in the Naruto series and I wanna at least pretend that I can fix the issue. Is it a bit fan fic'y. Ya probably, but wtf am I supposed to do? Anyway enjoy the show.

She could have helped train sasukes curse mark. She also could've been team 7's new captain instead of yamato since she had experience with orochimaru.
You need Yamato though, since someone needs to be with Naruto to suppress the 9 tails chakra. She definetly needs to ev there though. 🤔
Jiraiya had these chakra papers made to keep Naruto in check. Anko cursed mark is a mix of venom, blood and fûinjutsu. Anko goes with Jiraiya and Naruto on the training trip, learns fûinjutsu from Jiraiya, learns avout sage mode and trains in it with the Snakes. At the beginning of p2, Anko has "purified" her cursed mark through proper sage mode and eventually will help Sasuke get rid of his after he kills Itachi, offering him sage mode training as a come back reward for killing a Konoha missing nin (no Itachi was a good guy bs, no Susanô asspull).
As a member of new team 7, Anko keeps Naruto in check by being a stand-in for Jiraiya who she originally learned the sealing arts from in order to reverse engineer the cursed mark. She's the brains of team 7 when Kakashi isn't there. Wood style doesn't become Wooden Pole ex Machina, f*ck Hashirama cells, Madara died a long time ago, Obito died in the Tenchi Bridge mission, Kyûbi wasn't summoned, they simply used Naruto's birth to get out on their own and hated Konoha for sealing them, hence the attack that night.
Akatsuki doesn't have secret leaders, Pain is the real leader, Konan doesn't go with Nagato's brain damaged plans without reasoning with him. The 4th war is a real war, Konoha + Suna vs Kumo + Iwa vs all the minor villages, with Kiri waiting for an opportunity to finish off one camp and appear as the savior of the day. Kiri gets back to its' glory days, Mei isn't a pushover and no god tier character exists. Kyûbi is not a misunderstood furball, they're a force of nature corrupted by the hate caused by being sealed for a century.
Anko and Kakashi are both relevant mentor figures for the main characters and both get closure, Kakashi by accepting a new family and Anko by changing from her obsession with revenge into a caring mentor for Sasuke to follow in her steps. Found family story.

A potential anko and Sasuke dynamic is really interesting to me. Both of them contrast each other.

I always wished Anko would have taken in surviving members of team Dosu and the Sound 4 and became their new sensei in a whole Sound redemption arc. Or even if they all still died, she could have still led a Sound village reformation crusade without them; searching for all of Orochimaru's underground labs and prisons, freeing people and turning the Sound into a whole ass Orochimaru survival support group and helping everyone heal, being an example that the trauma doesn't define them and they can move on and do good in the world. Orochimaru accidentally building a special forces unit that turns on him would have been such a fitting downfall. He should have died to the people he viewed as tools, collected, abused, and tossed away. The biggest reason Boruto is a joke of a show for me is that the Leaf just hanging out with that mothafucka like shit's sweet.

Yeah i personally think Dosu, Zaku and Kin should have survived they had potential, i would have those two guys that were Kabuto's partners be the ones Orochimaru used as sacrifices for edo tensei, not only their designs were less unique but also the fact they were grown adults but still lost to gennin its honestly pathetic, atleast Zaku and Kin were Kids so they could get stronger as they aged
Anko could've been the 3rd strongest Jonin in Konoha behind Guy and Kakashi. Anko, Shino, Konohamaru, Sakura(to an extent) , etc were wasted
This idea to have Anko be very close to Kakashi and Sasuke works really well and i think it also fits with one idea i had, i always found a bit odd how the basic idea of a ninja team is to have 1 Jounin and three genin but the chunin being left out, so i think it would be more fiting if the teams were a little piramid, 1 jounin, 2 chunin and 3 genin and in this case Anko could be one of the chunin for team 7 that way it would be easier for her to be so close to Kakashi and Sasuke
And as a bonus the second chunin in this scenario could be Iruka since he already has a conection with Naruto and this way similar to Anko he could play a bigger role in the story rather than being left behind
In a way, she was the first Naruto character I had a semi-crush on and and was excited of what else she would be part of seeing how much like Naruto she is in both circumstance and relatability. Though I was sad and that I don't see her that often Besides a back story in a filler arc with izarabi, used as a plot device in the War Arc, and finally, her gain the same shame as her name say inko during Boruto, without her finding a relationship with the Iruka at least or even Kakashi. No wonder why I side with Naruto x Anko ship stories so much, it's the second favorite plausible pairing of an Outcast Couple and it makes sense to me not to mention how much they would help each other and how Naruto actually learning seals would also help her Either free or alter then master the curse mark.
Funny thing is she along with her friend's Kurenai, Yugao, and Hana are titles "The 4 ice Queens of Konoha" by the fandom and in multiple fan stories.
Which is funny that it's the Fandom that does Anko Justice, Rather than Kishimoto does to his so-called second favorite character that is sadly yet another victim of bad writing, misrepresentation, Wasted Potential (Just like Fu, Sakura, Hinata, Hotaru, Pakura, Temari, Tenten, Kurenai, Ino, Yugao, Tsume, Hana, Shizune, Shizuka, Mei, Yugao, Samui, Kushina & all movie cast!)
Also Fu x Naruto It's not only a plausible Jinchuuriki pairing but could have actually happened if drya revealed the identity of the other Jinchuuriki ,giving naruto incentive to return to waterfall to meet her officially.
Yep another character sacrificed on the mountain of wasted potential.

I still ship Kakashi and Anko. Mainly because he is always late and she is always early. Haha 😄

i like the idea of Anko getting more screentime. i like your execution too. i think the idea of Anko & Kakashi forming this connection is also quite interesting.
I always thought Kakashi and Anko would have made a good couple and team, since Kakashi had to look out for Sasuke and block the curse mark. He could have done the same for Anko, and she could have repaid that by helping Sasuke as well. Everything stated in the video makes sense. What doesn't make sense is Anko turning into a complete fatty in Boruto.

Literally she was done dirty in Shippuden and some fools tryna say she was done dirty in boruto when she never appeared in the manga 🤣
You know what her story could've ended? In Tenchi Bridge arc, instead of having a character we've never heard of before who's backstory is almost identical to her but lacking personality then why not let her be team 7 captain in that arc instead?
