Jesús understood Love Languages. Look at Mary and Martha. He sees Martha hospitality, he does not minimize her “Acts of Service”.
He commends Mary as a listener or one who liked “Quality Time”
He understood John’s laying his head on Jesús as “Physical Touch”. He gave Peter “Words of Affirmation” ( when you are whole, heal others)
He understood his Mother’s request for the wine request, “Receiving Gifts”.
Yes, if Jesus understood what each of the people in his life needed, without condemnation, but Love, how much more we.
    🇯🇲

Having someone want to learn your love language is the most beautiful thing. I had not experienced that until this current season. So pure. I have this same book 🌱 God Bless

I love these videos. Your second point, I've never even thought about. "When someone is deeply hurt or offended, it often points to their love language" I've never thought about that! It's brilliant truth. Thank you!

    Interesting topic. Thank you, Mark.
I have heard that you should periodically re-evaluate the love languages of others and yourself as they can and do change over time.

God loves us, he personally avenges us. We must always acknowledge him as LORD and father. Pray that we have strength to acknowledge him before the accuser.

I have never heard the term 'love language' but it makes sense. The ways we love are our own nature and expressions outside of that nature may be misunderstood. In college, I learned that children that all children have their own way of processing information. Some can learn through speaking but others may need to learn by doing. Tactile instruction is guiding a child through a physical activity to help them understand a concept. That may be why our witness to someone falls on 'deaf ears, they just can't process what you are saying to them.

I can pick up on peoples love language very quickly. I watch and see the different ways they treat various people and I have been correct every single time.

This was good. The only thing I would add, though, is that sometimes these love languages fall on a spectrum. So for me, yes my heart will melt most if you were to tell me that you were proud of me, but I would also feel warm inside if we spent time together (even if we just sat in silence). So, don't be discouraged if early in a relationship you pick the second best--you will learn your person's spectrum of satisfaction in time.

Love languages are defined by 5 key determining factors.
But we only have one God.
1 John 4:7,8 says God is love.
So if God is the epitome of love and we are all His children, then the person He sends me has been masterfully designed by the Master.
And if God is TRULY love, He is all of the language and lingo that I need to meet and marry the right one for me.

I've been binging your videos...these are great! I tried explaining to a friend that love language is not only for romance, but for family and friendships too! 💖 My love language is words of affirmation, gift giving and acts of service. I do these things to show my friends and family I love them 🥰
Side note: On Halloween, my "friends" took one group picture when I went to the bathroom... Needless to say, it hurt my feelings 😂 What type of love language do y'all think that situation applies to?

Sometimes people are just not compatible and the love language does not align because they don't love you

I gave up on "love language" years ago. Its just another weapon to be used again me. After growing up in the church its become the greatest disappointment in life. Doing the right thing and be a good person only got me further from anything resembling what I would consider happy.

My marriage is struggling. I have a 3 month old infant that wont sleep. My wife hasnt slept next to me for almost two weeks because she wants me to have rest for work. i cant be there for my wife when im at work. Im about to get deployed for 9 months. Im so lost right now. I love my wife. I love our family. I want us to be happy and i want my wife to be happy but with everything spiraling i feel out of control and lonely. I feel selfish feeling like this. My wife takes care of almost everything at home when she isnt dealing with our kids. We need help. Someone, anyone please pray for me and my family. We need God. I need God. Help

Time to communicate.. I mean really communicate.. the brutal honesty. There is going to fighting.. insecurities flare up...fear.. tons of emotions to sift through BEFORE anything gets listened to/fixed/looked at and evaluated in a rational mind.
Prayer isn't going to help in this situation.. A hard conversation with LOTS of time, Consistency of talking about the hard subject. With you AND your partner. There may be a lot of resistance/denial from your partner at first. But don't give up. The first time is always the hardest. But keep going if the fight for your marriage is worth it to you.

Please Jesus Christ Heal the marriage and restore the life of the family. seek the kingdom of God and all things are added to you. The Kingdom of God is Joy, peace and righteousness. Not our own righteousness but the righteousness of Christ. 🙏🏻

So do people think I am easy or difficult if I like all of them somewhat near equally? I like variety. A mix-up. Any single type too much, for too long gets old or boring to me.
