I remember listening to this song lots in the early noughties and playing it a lot on the University Radio station!!! Great tune, love the drums particularly ... !
John would be happy for this tribute. PERFECT DRUMS. Amazing toms, phenomenal cymbal work. That kick outro is nuts. Also phenomenal engineering from mr. Norton. That bass. Wow. Raw vocals.
I read somewhere before that Grant had already written this song before Jons death and that Jon had recorded some drums for it at the time. After Jon died they naturally had to re-record the drums with another musician but kept it as close to Jons original recordings as possible. Hence why this sounds so much like Jons style.
I'd always assumed, but never had it confirmed, that this was a massively symbolic video after Lee's passing. Black and white video, with the four drummers often playing in synchronicity I found hauntingly amazing. This is a very special single.
Notice how they're not in time with each other or the song necessarily. Symbolising how they were never going to be the same without him. Subtle touch that really adds to it.
just re-found feeder after not hearing any music from them since pushing the senses album, heard "just the way i'm feeling" playing in a store a few days ago, now i'm looking for the full back catalogue :)
Yeah I thought it was Foo Fighters at first, even more confusing is they had a song called 'Come Back' which I'm pretty sure was released in the same year
Bang! I’m back in my early to mid 20s having the time of my life at concerts for Feeder / Shed Seven / Embrace and Ash ams the likes every other weekend and all is great.
I bought the single cd for this and put in the player and it didn't read it I put it in my Xbox and it makes me download blu ray player suprisinly it's a DVD not a cd it has this video a lyric video and some short clips of the music videos for tangerine suffocate high and crash very interesting experience well done feeder another great single

Exactly why I’m relistening to my old albums!

Lol. Didn't expect this to be on the comments as I just learnt about the song from the xfm shows. 😂
"Ho Ho HOOO! That was Feeder with 'Come Back Around' -- It's a new leaf, Steve."
Hell of a single to come back with after suffering such a tragic loss in the band.
1500目の高評価!!🙌🏻

@@CitroenC407 that is cool, thx for that info!
Mark Richardson of skunk anansie played drums. You tell by the crash’s being leathered towards the end of the track. Beast 💪
This is a fantastic album.
Feeder brilliant live band ! Great tribute to John ! Saw feeder Slane 2003 class
Massively under rated band.
A very well composed rock song. Heavy guitars, great rock drumming and great variation. The bridge around 1:55 is very good. Also 2:31 😂

The drummers were there as a tribute to Jon bc he often said there should be more female drummers
Jon always in the sound
What a Band. What a Song. Im Lovin it. For ever and ever. Thanks feeder. RIP John Lee. You are for ever in my heart. 😪

A fantastic tune and an amazing video!
I've heard this song when i was a kid in a ps2 game, i thought it was FOO FIGHTERS, amazing song!
Ihatemy name urban freestyle soccer?
They worked with Gil Norton on this album. He's a producer who has worked on a number of Foo albums as well, so that may explain the similarity.
Found that in Urban Freestyle Soccer. Man, amazing song.
Me too. I just happened to keep those music stored in my old computer somewhere. I listened to them today, searched the lyrics, and im here now.
Jon Lee's death was a real tragedy.
Beautiful
Anyway... here's Rockbusters
Great song - One of the best tunes in "American Wedding"!
やっぱかっこよ。
Great track, I see them at the Forum Kentish town back in 1997, on tour with Reef. Great night.
Thanks - been looking for this vid for ages :)
Heard this when I bought the 2002 Kerrang cd such an amazing song and such an underrated band!
Feel like Feeder get so lost in the mix of similar types of bands from the same time but they were so so so good and this song especially.
Fuck!! What a song!! I grew up listening to the best bands on the planet in the 70's and 80's and these can be added to the list! Awesome.
Cracking track n album! X
BMX Crew, from urban freestyle soccer (2005) playlist everyone
Totally under rated imo
I've got a signed single somewhere. The video came on the CD for PCs. Watched it loads. Saw them support Stereophonics in 2001. I enjoyed them more.

I just discovered they aren’t American but they are Welsh or Scottish, such an underrated band.
