Yo Polyend, put that compressor in a 500 format and I'l buy it in a heartbeat. Clean compressors dont get as much love as the colorful ones, but if the RNC taught us anything, that a really good ultra transparent compressor can be incredibly useful
I think this might be the most exciting product of theirs! its a great approach to controlling a multitimbral synth. Hoping a percussion version will follow this!
I’m sure someone else in this thread has mentioned the RNC, or the not-a-compressor RNLA, which is my preferred end-of-chain for hardware performance. I know that this is supposed to be cleaner, and probably MUCH snappier than the RNLA, which is pretty gooey, but how does this compare to either of those in terms of just dialing in one setting for a certain set and popping it at the end before sending to FOH? Been looking for something small and a little thumpier to alternate with the RNLA….also, I’m not here for the synth. I’m here for the compressor.
