This is more like an app restriction put in place to buy new phones or update your old phone. Even though your phone can run it just fine, the new app has encoded code in it it to prevent installation on old phones. This is why I bought huawei because its not regarded as android. Thus the new apps can't put the restrictions on it. I will yet to see this effect but I'm betting my device will still install new apps 5 years later as opposed to other devices that came out the same year with my Huawei..

i use android 5.1.1 but one application i want needs android 6.0 or later to be installed, is there something to do with the APK file to force installing it like edit the file or something ? ( all apk files can be opened with zip or rar application)

I've wanted to install a certain app on my new tablet, but after doing all of these things, the Google Play store still says "Your device is not compatible with this version"
I have the exact same certain game on my phone and it works with zero problems.
Both devices are OS Android 10 and are up to date.
I've tried multiple apks of the game, all of which have an error message, making it unplayable. ("Your device doesn't have the hardware requirements for this application")

Have you, or can you adjust the aspect ratio on your tablet? Say down to 16:9 from full screen or 4:3. I know this is a year later but with my Fold I get this error in play store and I turn Play Store to 16:9 from full screen and wahlah!

All I can change on my tablet is the font size & icon size.
