Manon's crazy small bike was quite original. I also liked the still shots on the last uphill run with the Scottish (?) war drums. Did you run the serial numbers through the National Bike Registry?

Im noticing a theme in GCN recently. “Lets get a tandem bike so that Ollie wont get dropped”. I like it to be honest, makes me want to buy a tandem bike.
Tandems are a hoot, but consider carefully before you embark on that journey. There's a popular saying among riders; 'No matter what direction your relationship is heading, it will get there a lot faster on a tandem...'
Probably the funniest video made by the gcn team. Wish there was a warning :don't drink hot beverages while watching. The beverage may behave a bit like Ollie (get dropped)
Great challenge GCN! I must say, Ollie has taken to being dropped very seriously indeed. Riding tandems on 2 separate videos, i think we should now call him the "Undroppable"! ^_^
Super fun! Really enjoyed these group challenge videos with great banter between all. Also appreciated you didn’t have a super long intro and just introduced everyone with no nonsense.

What an excellent and funny video! Great job by the whole GCN team👏Manon had the coolest bike. Hank and Ollie tried the hardest but Ollie’s huge jugs brought them down😂
The look on Hank's face when Manon presented him with the golf bag filled with clubs was hysterical. The look on Manon's face when she found out that SHE would be the one to carry the bag of clubs on HER bike..... priceless! :-D

Never enjoyed that much watching a GCN challenge. You guys took entertainment to a new level. 🤣
Why wasn't Ollie on the front of the tandem? It's normal for the taller person to be at the front (unless they're really lacking the upper body strength - oh, maybe I've just answered my own question 😁😁). A note on getting on and off and starting/stopping on a tandem: the person on the front (pilot or captain) stands over the bike with both feet on the floor and holds it steady while the person on the back ( the stoker) gets on and clips both feet into the pedals then back pedals to bring the cranks round to an appropriate position for setting off. The pilot then clips their foot into the leading crank and they both "push off". The pilot should try and get sat on the saddle and then clipped in to the other pedal as quickly as possible whilst the stoker keeps on pedalling. Whenever you stop, only the pilot should put their foot down. The stoker remains on the saddle with both feet on the pedals (bringing the cranks round to the appropriate position ready for setting off again). Sounds complicated, but it's much easier and quicker to start and stop doing it like that. Peter Bird (Swallow Tandems) taught me the method many years ago.
I just saved a 1983 handmade Raleigh Rapide with 531 mainframe tubes, from the tip. Pearlescent white paint. Fantastic. Will take a 12 speed rear wheel without adjustment to the frame. People don't know what they have. The bike is racy but not light, but I ride to keep fit, not race🙂
I've scored nice bikes (Treks and Cannondales) at government auctions for $150 or so. Police and EMS bikes are usually well maintained and good quality.
My uncle was asked to get rid of a police bike that had been stored in a courthouse junk room. He give it to me (he wouldn't accept the $100 I offered) but it's a 87 univega with all the original parts, even the reflectors, the 190mm dork disc is still clear. I put a saddle along with tires on this steel bike and it's the best riding bike I have. Hope you got a smile from this. Later
@@WestonNey Well in the US there's a website called govdeals.com that lists bikes across the country and can be broken down by states. If you're not US you might want to do a search for government auction sites. I'm guessing a lot of countries have them to get rid of excess inventory and confiscated bikes. I have always picked up bikes I've won but it's possible you could arrange to have shipping.
