  • www.timcolemanx.com Tim Coleman does Slow wheelie on Honda Crf250x. Tim Coleman is a top trials rider and enduro rider, representing Australia three times at the Trials Des Nations. Tim says trials riding is all about precision with balance, throttle and clutch control, whilst getting your bike up some epic obstacles. And be warned, it’s addictive! If you want to take your enduro skills to the next level, think about getting a trials bike, and get some balance into your life. Born in Glenmaggie, a magnificent rural part of Australia, Tim Coleman was destined to explore it by becoming a motorcycle rider. He started young when he just turned four years old. His initial choice of two-wheeling was motorcross. He loved it and practiced every day on the farm where he was living. Soon, however, Tim Coleman discovered the art of mototrials and that led to a total immersion into the sport for the years to come.

Cross training is the application of Trials-based skills to Dirt riding, and it's got solid backing from the world's top riders like Tim Coleman. According to Graham Jarvis, "going fast is the easy bit. It’s going slowly that will help you develop control. Simple riding exercises which are actually difficult to perform can give you a lot of control." Tim Coleman agrees! Trials riders like Tim Coleman can entertain themselves for hours with just one or two obstacles, practising existing techniques or learning new ones that they can then transfer to the dirt bike. It's these skills that make top extreme enduro riders such a formidable force when the terrain gets tough. Tim has spent the past few years adapting his trials skills to enduro, which has led to stunt riding in movies, international coaching and his own stunt shows in Australia. Tc Trickz Trials Entertainment is an exciting motorcycle stunt show performed by Tim Coleman and his talented friends on dirt bikes and trials bikes. With over 20 years of competitions all over the globe, its now time to showcase Tim Coleman's skills on his Beta RR300 to the public.

Man can you tell me how to wheelie the 250x? I have a stock version and the front wheel won't lift. What am I doing wrong?
Nice vid btw. You control it really well!

Front wheel should lift right up no problem, give it gas and dump the clutch and it'll stand right up, now holding it, that'll take some skill.

Hi Dan, Yes the front wheel should come up if your technique is right, they are heavier bikes but all very possible

This was covered quite well in some of the Cross Training Enduro Skills Robert, if you wanted to try googling for them. :)

Robert Karlsson 4 stroke because theres less rebuilds depending on how you treat the bike and maintain it .... The gas mileage is way better than any 2 stroke there is as of rn .. and it has good power when going up steep hills at low or high rpms ....

2 stroke is lighter and more power

    • @bikersoncall
      @bikersoncall 2 ปีที่แล้ว

The top guys typically run 2 stroke, not MX
bikes though, the power band on MX bikes
is in the higher revs. But yeah, see Cross
Training Enduro channel for good info on that.
4t and 2t both do a great job though for enduro,
      especially when just getting started.

      @ Tim Wilson,
I hope this doesn't come off sounding
rude, I don't mean it that way, but no
one at this level is going to give up something
      like a Beta For a 250X.
      I could surmise by
the title, that this is just to show that you don't
need the best bikes to do slow wheelies.
You do need some power though, not any
bike will do the slow wheelie 'easily' .
