Limmy laughing at someone other than himself?! Mark Heap truely is great!
One of the best.
Don’t think I’ve ever seen a sketch more suited to Limmy’s sense of humour
That was a cracker sketch tho
The whole of Jam is incredible
Telly back then was truly made by acid casualties for acid casualties.
I laughed so hard. Thank you.
Jam was mental.
Mark Heap is one of those actors who just nails every role.
God, I love Chris Morris. I can still remember listening to Blue Jam on Radio 1 in like 1998 when I was a kid, and it was just mind-blowing.
Jam is one of the best sketch shows ever made. Incredible television.
It's sadly not a patch on the radio version.
Fucking love Jam. Blue Jam was great too, especially the Jerry Springer episode. But nothing beats Brass Eye.
Jerry Springer, tell us your name.
@@panoply1886 outrageous
Jam was insane. Used to watch it as a stoned teenager. The casual parents sketch was dark af.
Kevin Eldon too. He's always superb.
The actor Kevin Eldon. And the brilliant Amelia Bullmore also seen as Sonja in I'm Alan Partridge
She was in Suburban Shootout. Underappreciated.
He got twunted by a Honda
Its amazing that chnnel 4 aired jam at all tbh, me anmd my mates watched the dvd on repeat , classic
Did you receive any lizards
FUCKING NODDY?!
Nah, channel 4 was weird and interesting in the 90s. Now all it has to offer is bakeoff and that c*** Matt Hancock crawling around in mud pretending to be in the army. Sigh.
Jam phase let's go
A man of taste. Jam is sublime.
The creepy Doctor sketches on Jam were great too.
Nice….density.

Was just thinking about this. & now here it is. I go to sleep at night & there's Mr. Lizard. I remember him every time a lizard comes into my house.
Comedy gold this man
Love that Limmy is a Jam fan. The "Thick People" and the "Robbery (one with the gun the wrong way)" sketch are my favourites
One of my favourite Jam sketches
Mark Heap and Kevin Eldon in one sketch, hooo!
The 'Gush' sketch is a good one. Nearly been there meself a few times.
Mr. Lizard was based on Limmy himself. He sold and set up a TV for Chris Morris in the ‘90s and did this exact skit the next day when lizards came pouring out of Morris’ new TV.
If anyone denies that this is the truth I think we can all agree the burden of proof is on you to prove that this didn’t happen
Chris was sharing a flat with Benny Harvey at the time and Limmy was perhaps involved in Benny's death, as I think Benny killed himself shortly after.
Limmy vs Mr Lizard Vs Aphex Twin
The Mr Lizard sketch is one of my favourites. I used to always imagine that Mark Heap's character was a mentally ill guy suffering from really bad psychosis and he'd been taking medication for years and was in recovery and he'd managed to get a job.
He's been living for a years and doing well....
Then he turns up at this situation and it completely demolishes his mental health.
He's not deliberately annoying the couple, he's just being slowly and completely taken over by his old psychosis.
By the end, he's done. He's an absolute lunatic again. Total psychotic break.
But that doesnt add up with what's happening
@@idrinkmilk282 Why not? Look at Mark Heap's character. He comes in pretty normal. Sees the lizards, and starts falling apart, hears the people shouting at him and becomes part of the delusion and thinks he's Mr Lizard.
You don't have much experience with mental illness do you? So I'm going to assume you're in your late teens?
@@childofthesun32 actually when your put it like that, i see the angle from which you're coming. That could be what they were getting at actually. It's possible. But as is with all surrealist art, it's impossible to tell for sure. I like your interpretation though, now that i understand it.
@@childofthesun32 i do have experience with it mate. Firstly, i began experiencing a bunch of my most troublesome mental health issues in my early teens. So that's not entirely relevant, the whole "you must be late teens" thing. Not sure the two are related, as far as age and how bad mental health can be, are concerned. I am 28 now. I've been addicted to tramadol, morphine, and pregabalin for the last 3 years, all to mask my mental health issues. I recently beat those drugs, and am now in a methadone programme, free off the gaba drugs entirely. I had a huge mental health relapse as soon as aforementioned drugs properly left my system, and it was the single scariest 5 months of my life. Im not fully out of the woods yet. The anxiety on levels hitherto unknown, the obsessive thoughts, the nightmares... its like living at the bottom of the ocean. Those around me can see my suffering, but none of them actually understand, for lack of experiencing it directly.
It's been nothing but pure fucking agony, this last year. But im starting to come through, i think. I'm not afraid to be left on my own now as the anxiety has eased significantly. It was so bad i had my girl take me to hospital on 3 seperate occasions, convinced i was dying, or suffering a mental break.
Im not fully there yet, not at all. Debts not yet fully paid. but the relief, the relief of being here instead of back there... is absolutely beautiful.
@@idrinkmilk282 I just found that a lot of Jam's humour and Limmy especially, is just taking a mentally ill person and putting a comedic spin on it.
I sometimes even don't consider Limmy a comedian. He's a Social Historian. Studying the Mental States of Scottish People.
All his characters are the perfect recreation of someone that we've all met, or seen.
Even the "She's turned the weans against us"... I've showed that to people that didn't know it was Limmy and they didn't know it was a comedy sketch. It's just so accurate.
The tongue Mr lizzizard😂😂😂😂😂
Mark Heap aye. This sketch had me crying this year, there’s also a radio version equally hilarious.
Jam and Limmy. I'm in heaven.
Something smells nice Jackie
Mr Lizard, aka King Charles
Wow, Limmy enjoyed something!
I only know mr lizard as Jim and he's cracking in Friday Night Dinner
Limmy watching Jam? Love it
This is great.
Jam was one of the greatest series ever allowed on telly. Better times.
Jam was something else. XD I fondly remember “the day Kilroy lost his mind”
That's the guy off Friday night dinner isn't it
I knew Jam was the inspiration behind Limmy. The Dee Dee sketches remind me of Jam a lot.
Was just going to say the same. I remember when I saw the Limmy's show pilot, thinking that Dee Dee had a strong Jam influence, especially with the music in the background. (Which to me is a very good thing because I love Jam)
Jam is so good
It's like cars this
I watched Spaced recently which had Mark Heap in it, and it seems like an influence on Limmy's comedy, has he ever mentioned it?
What's your bosses name?
Another Mr lizard 🦎
This is incredible, when was it made?
"And were the breasts bobbing up and down?"
Hairstyle matches this version of Heap: m.th-cam.com/video/7GqqnndiyME/w-d-xo.html
What the hell, I just paused Aphex twin to listen to this video and it's playing the same song!
He turned it off just before bossman Kevin Eldon provided a classic comedic crying outtro.
Aphex Twin - #7
Love Limmy trying to find a higher quality. (If you didn't know, the low quality was intentional.)
Was this before or after Big Train?
if you have an nvidia gpu you set nvidia super sampling to improve low-res videos
Jam is so underrated
🦎🦎
Was that from Jam?
somebody tell Limmy couchtripper’s youtube channel up scaled the entirety of Jam a wee while ago!
Youze did it
Then welcome....in Blahem!
is this about me not being married?
It's a shame they're miming
Lol
Jam is genius stuff but I never found it very funny. It scares the hell out of me.
Meh
Mark Heap is a fucking icon
th-cam.com/video/KxWBcUZvqLM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=7WOvr1l_ZI5RogBs has Limmy seen the actual Mark on 3-2-1 yet?
this has fucking blown my mind. i was born in 92 so i don't have direct references for these people but i just cannot fathom those two worlds intersecting
