For people confused at how long it took for Turkey's points to come up on the board; instead of adding the 3 points to Turkey, they instead changed Israel's score to 3 by accident. So they likely had to check how many points Israel had gotten and correct it before they could put up Turkey's 3 points.
Cheers for the 12 points Monaco, grrrrrr at Turkey for being the only country not to give UK any points that year. The Shadows probably never planned touring there ever after the contest! That Israeli spokesperson was annoying and awkward giggling moment when the scoreboard failed to respond when Monaco gave Turkey 3 pts, like it wanted the newcomers to score 0 lol. I find it a coincidence Belgium only gave Netherlands 3 pts which was the same score Ireland awarded to UK, strange neighbor pattern.
The Benelux countries traditionally were no keener to give each other big marks than Ireland and the UK were, there are many instances where they exchanged few points even when other countries gave them high marks. The incident with Turkey was that Israel's score was accidentally altered, so I imagined they had to recount all their votes in a state of panic.
