Given her circumstances at the time, many people would have likely killed themselves, but she overcame her hardships including homelessness, suffering and unemployment and fought on like a true #General. Her son, who is such a treasure, stood by his mother throughout. I can't even begin to comprehend how it must have felt for her, but I'm glad she made it through and is now at a better place. Milk I blamed you and I don't mean it a bad way. Most of us in Jamaica was actually on your side. It was the guy who was getting the bashing from the general public especially the females. But we all were looking for you to come out and said something but you never did. Its years after the incident we even knew you were being blackballed and homeless because best believe we would have gone and rallied in the streets for you. The university and college students were backing you. We took the tape as fun and shocking back then and not demeaning. Even Johnny had a tape back then and several university students. Its a pity you never had anyone close in your corner to tell you to come out and talk to the public. Because we saw when she came off CVM but thought the show geared a lot to high school kids so we thought that's why they took you off because the show was similar to 106 and Park. So we never knew it was a completely blackballed thing until a few years ago you mentioned it on Facebook. The females were behind you and was very upset what they did to you. Most people thought the man framed you so it was him being bashed amongst the females. So never for a second believe the women weren't with you. We were livid because of how you were portrayed so had you said anything back then we would've mobilised and rallied out in the pubic for you.
She was experiencing so much shame and guilt that at the time she felt it was best to remain unseen and unheard for awhile… I too as a female was very upset at the man for not even trying to defend this lady..

We weren't upset because of what she was doing on the tape, we were upset that it was purposely put out to disrespect her as a female and the man looking like a gallis. That was what I remembered people were saying. Because several of these types of tapes were coming out back then, to disrespect females especially after a breakup. Even that singer Cassie was being bribed to pay to not release her tape but because she was I believe underaged, the police force got involved saying it would child pornography or something like that. Also, alot of the tapes and nudes back then weren't because of stolen phones as alot of people would like to believe. Back then persons never really saw their cell phones and especially computers as a personal device for privacy like now so people constantly was lending their devices to people to use. That's how alot of these videos and pics were getting leaked. Someone would ask to use a phone for a call and Bluetooth or email the info to themselves. Even a case where a university student sex tape was released with her boyfriend, the boyfriend kept having persons using his computer and the sex tape was in a file on it and his friends took a copy of it and released it. Strange enough Milk's tape wasn't even that clear in quality back then yet it caused such an uproar. Because some people actually thought it wasn't her because she looked really light skinned with Asian features so people just work with it when others said it was her. But it's unfortunate she took so long to come out and say something about it and was going through this level of stress whilst thinking the females never had her back when in reality it was not so. We just never happened to know these things were going on or else we would've rallied for her if she had simply came out and said something about it back then.

It's really unfortunate that this happened to her. It doesn't appear as though her partner was vilified in the same way she has been which is just an indicator of the difference in the way men and women are treated in society. Making the recording I can't even 100% say was and error in judgement because it was what was agreed between two consenting adults. The challenge is that with things like these we unfortunately have to consider that there are some horrible people in the world who will do these types of things to us. It's also ironic that other women in other parts of the world have had similar things happen to them and they have been allowed to move on.I say allowed because even after so long the powers that be seem to not be able to move past her being the victim of someone else's actions. Milk is one #STRONG woman. Given her circumstances at the time, many people would have likely killed themselves, but she overcame her hardships including homelessness, suffering and unemployment and fought on like a true #General. Her son, who is such a treasure, stood by his mother throughout. I can't even begin to comprehend how it must have felt for her, but I'm glad she made it through and is now at a better place. I hope TVJ or another station would hire her so she may return to television, which is what she enjoys doing the most. Love you girl.💖

Milk I blamed you and I don't mean it a bad way. Most of us in Jamaica was actually on your side. It was the guy who was getting the bashing from the general public especially the females. But we all were looking for you to come out and said something but you never did. Its years after the incident we even knew you were being blackballed and homeless because best believe we would have gone and rallied in the streets for you. The university and college students were backing you. We took the tape as fun and shocking back then and not demeaning. Even Johnny had a tape back then and several university students. Its a pity you never had anyone close in your corner to tell you to come out and talk to the public. Because we saw when she came off CVM but thought the show geared a lot to high school kids so we thought that's why they took you off because the show was similar to 106 and Park. So we never knew it was a completely blackballed thing until a few years ago you mentioned it on Facebook. The females were behind you and was very upset what they did to you. Most people thought the man framed you so it was him being bashed amongst the females. So never for a second believe the women weren't with you. We were livid because of how you were portrayed so had you said anything back then we would've mobilised and rallied out in the pubic for you.
She was experiencing so much shame and guilt that at the time she felt it was best to remain unseen and unheard for awhile… I too as a female was very upset at the man for not even trying to defend this lady..

We weren't upset because of what she was doing on the tape, we were upset that it was purposely put out to disrespect her as a female and the man looking like a gallis. That was what I remembered people were saying. Because several of these types of tapes were coming out back then, to disrespect females especially after a breakup. Even that singer Cassie was being bribed to pay to not release her tape but because she was I believe underaged, the police force got involved saying it would child pornography or something like that. Also, alot of the tapes and nudes back then weren't because of stolen phones as alot of people would like to believe. Back then persons never really saw their cell phones and especially computers as a personal device for privacy like now so people constantly was lending their devices to people to use. That's how alot of these videos and pics were getting leaked. Someone would ask to use a phone for a call and Bluetooth or email the info to themselves. Even a case where a university student sex tape was released with her boyfriend, the boyfriend kept having persons using his computer and the sex tape was in a file on it and his friends took a copy of it and released it.
Strange enough Milk's tape wasn't even that clear in quality back then yet it caused such an uproar. Because some people actually thought it wasn't her because she looked really light skinned with Asian features so people just work with it when others said it was her. But it's unfortunate she took so long to come out and say something about it and was going through this level of stress whilst thinking the females never had her back when in reality it was not so. We just never happened to know these things were going on or else we would've rallied for her if she had simply came out and said something about it back then.

It's really unfortunate that this happened to her. It doesn't appear as though her partner was vilified in the same way she has been which is just an indicator of the difference in the way men and women are treated in society. Making the recording I can't even 100% say was and error in judgement because it was what was agreed between two consenting adults. The challenge is that with things like these we unfortunately have to consider that there are some horrible people in the world who will do these types of things to us. It's also ironic that other women in other parts of the world have had similar things happen to them and they have been allowed to move on.I say allowed because even after so long the powers that be seem to not be able to move past her being the victim of someone else's actions. Hope she gets the chance to have another go at her media career.
