Just letting you know Denise you were born to inspire and motivate. While we watched you on television, we did not know your struggles, but that light that emmited from you could not be hid under a bushel. Without you knowing it at that time, you caused a lot of us to believe in ourselves. We regret that you suffered so long and we thank God that we serve a true and living God that gives beauty for ashes; strength for fear; gladness for mourning and peace for despair. I wish I could give her a hug and tell her she was not alone. This didn’t hit close to home, it hit straight in a me house and flatten me. ❤ Thank you for your story. I will write my book, I will sit in that seat, I will tell my story. I can no longer be ashamed of what I’ve been through because so many are going through the same and worst and needs to know they are not alone. Sigh.

I can relate to Denise. I grew up in the lanes on Seaward Drive and for awhile was the only one attending Queens High. We had thieving light so I could study while my friends mostly reside “uptown “. I was motivated to be the success story of my family and so I worked hard and overcame obstacles to do it. Blessings to you Denise. Simone I appreciate you and your program. Big up to my father who mothered me, I love him more than I can express.

Oh, boy! This season has ended with a bang. The more you live, the more you learn. What a bitter sweet story. Over the years I’ve always admired Denise Hunt throughout her acting career. She has such a great personality, and that winning smile. I was so disappointed when she left all the programs she hosted on TV. Little did I know that she was struggling within. Thanks for letting us know. The enemy could not hurt you because God favored you. I still admire you, girl. Thanks again Simone for a lovely program.

I met Simone for the first time as a guest on the adult programme with Rodney and I met her again in a pharmacy in new kingston and I fell in love with Denise vis my television screen. I love and admire both of you. Thank you both for this particular programme. It hit home.

I met this lady at the FLL airport with Oliver, Faye Ellington and no disrespect cannot remember the others name, but i do remember coming from a trip from Dubai way back in the early 2000, dem mek mi laugh so hard not lying had to rush to the bathroom fast, and who most was giving the joke was This lady, she was really funny, which I said to myself , Thank you Lord for this woman, she take the stress off me cause i was going home to visit my mother whom by the time was dying ,now see or heard her story, but with grace I will say Thanks you for being YOU, I LOVE YOU Mrs. Denise Hunt.

I can identify with Denise. It is always my belief that we need to have a relationship with our children; not just clothe and feed them or just sending them to school. Because of this I've tried to build my relationship with my daughter and years later I can see the results. Calling me each time she goes out. Expressing her feelings whether good or bad.

Watching Denise talk about her story touched my heart so much because I'm going through mental illness with no strong support system and I'm struggling to find myself but her story makes me want to fight, it gave me strength in knowing I'm not the only one. Take huge courage for someone to speak so openly about things they experience and been through depression and all... This was a remarkable story thank you so much Denise Hunt for sharing your story with us and thank you, Simone, for bringing her on your show! I am in tears, struggling with depression but this was very helpful in allowing me to seek help and speak out that I am not okay
I like the point that Denise emphasized so well - people who are aching should deliberately seek the help of good therapist (paraphrased). I have seen so many individuals who, if they had looked for help soon enough, could achieve in a big way - intellectually socially, materially and spiritually. Unfortunately many will not seek or even accept the necessary help. Because of such neglect many live and sometimes even die in poverty.
