That was so thoughtful of your Cape Town, Africa viewer to tell you that! Here in Central OH we have had such a mild winter. Daffodil, tulip & day lily leaves are up! We have had Spring temps several days. I LOVE daffodils! I have to confess I fell off the wagon when it comes to dry brushing...but I AM on my rebounder daily to move that lymph system along. I must get back into dry brushing, tho. I first got into it after Dec '96 inductal cancer (DCIS) diagnosis. It is SO vital to move the "sewage" thru the lymph & out. Thank you, Cheryl! Excellent topic. 👋🙋♀️
Oh my goodness, the floral display must be gorgeous!! When I lived in VA I would get so excited to see our day lilies appear, announcing the onset of spring, lol! Have you watched any of Kelly's videos? She's great and has an excellent rebounder workout on her channel (cancer rehab pt). So glad you enjoyed watching, my friend. Take care and have a fabulous week... xo Cheryl
Great instructions! I enjoy dry brushing but I suck at being consistent. I got my brush in a gift basket one year, I think it’s boar bristles, I had no idea they also make them with cactus fibers! Happy Sunday! Hugs, j
Consistency is always a challenge. I like doing it, but I'll put the brush in a drawer and then forget. I decided to try keeping on the counter where I can see it and maybe that will help me to do it more often. Thumbs up for cactus fibers, lol! xo Cheryl
Hello Ms Cheryl I always enjoy your calm and very kind spirit! thank you for helping us out here and I have seen Tracy Ross use the drry brush! Please tell me where to purchase one. Thank you for the the enlightening Education for us Ladies! 💖🌸💋👍
Hi Wanda! I'm so glad you enjoyed watching and that you were inspired to try dry brusing. I put links in the description to two dry brushes that I recommend. One is the EcoTools that I used in the video and the other is one with a long handle and natural bristles. Both are on Amazon, but if you prefer something local places like Target, Whole Foods and your local health food stores should carry them. HTH... xo Cheryl
Good morning. Hope all is well your way. Thanks for sharing this information about dry brushing. I have heard of it, and that it has beneficial in some way, but never took the time to study up on it. I was given a brush from my sister last Christmas, haven't known how to use it. Definitely gonna start after hearing about all the benefits. 💖
Hey there, are you having messy weather and storms as well? I have a dry brush with a long handle and not certain why I purchased it many many years ago but also stopped using it many many years ago. Maybe I should take it up again. I'm loving your blue, that's a nice shade on you as well is that shrimp color I always like on you. Hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend with this time change and if you're like me, I'm trying to work on tax returns😊
Hi there! On Thursday a thunder storm blew through around 5pm, but it was over in about 20 minutes. Since then and for the next several days it's going to be sunny and warm. I'm loving it and we really need to dry out because the ground is soaked. As for the blue, thank you because I've been reading about color psychology and blue is calming and signifies trust, so I decided to try it out. Yes, do try the dry brushing again - it's a great way to de-stress, which is especially important for you now at your busiest time of the year! (it's also the WORST time for the time change because that just adds to the stress load)
@@FreeRangeDiva oh yes, the dreaded time change though I prefer more Daylight I just don't like losing an hour of sleep and trying to adjust over the next week or more, indeed stressful. Only 20 minutes of rain? We had a bit of a rough Wednesday as well so I can't blame that one on you guys, maybe we sent you that little storm. Hopefully your ground will dry out quickly. And blue does seem to be calming when I'm looking at it on someone else but not on me, it seems to drain the color out of my skin at least that shade of blue. I think that probably has a lot to do with hair color and eye color as well though
@@sable7114 Definitely true about the shade of blue (lighter blues do nothing for me). Oh and I'm doing a rant next week about how and why this stupid time change damages our health and why it's a myth that we get 'more sunlight' because of it. We get the exact same amount of light - 10 hours on Saturday and 10 hours on Sunday!
