  • A step-by-step guide on how to dry brush. Dry brushing is a great way to start your day. The practice of brushing the skin once or twice daily with a soft but firm brush is said to sweep away dead skin cells, stimulate the lymphatic system, improve the appearance of skin and support digestion. Dry brushing is one of those rare things that feels just as good when you do it yourself, and it’s incredibly easy to incorporate into your routine.

Ive been dry brushing for a while, and I don’t really believe in the lymphatic drainage/circulation/cellulite stuff, but when I tell you it is AMAZING for exfoliation! It makes your skin SO SO soft and shaving is so much easier! I’m never going back to body scrubs. So good

Thank you, Thank you, for getting straight to the point. I was trying to find a ladies video that introduced me to dry brushing four days ago with no success. TH-cam's algorithm sucks. I could not remember which direction to do the arms. Thank you. I also see that you did the stomach sideways, she did not show that. Does it matter in that area?

Doesn't seem very hygienic to start at the bottom of your feet and then dry brush the rest of your body. I would think you would want to do your feet last. Who wants their dirty, dusty, been-walking-around-the-house-barefoot feet all over the rest of their body? No thank you. I will start @ my ankles or use a separate brush for my feet.

Regardless of how clean floor is I would not want to spread foot stink throughout my body. Same with underarms some dry brushing videos recommend that too. Does not make sense.

Please ignore this video and find yourself better instruction on dry brushing. Dry brushing is a specific technique that facilitates lymph drainage. When done properly it has enormous health benefits. The technique done in this video will not. Using a specific lymph drainage protocol, you begin by using light brush strokes to open the lymph ducts. These are located in areas such as the neck, armpits, under the clavicles and groin, to name a few. You then make brush strokes towards these terminals to facilitate the proper movement of lymph fluid. This video is a good example of how we can easily be misinformed when on our path to improving health.
