With the speed that you have approached that roundabout was definitely over the safe limit especially in wet roads. It's a lesson to learn for everyone. Other than that I'm happy that you managed repairing the car.
Probably played Need For Speed right before getting into the car where - as we all know - you can batter the sh!t out of cars and straighten any roundabout or turn. In reality you will pay the price.
Well done saved the day again. :) Good job it wasn't an insurance job as they probably would have wrote the car off. Think you will be lucky to find a replacement identical wheel. What make and spec are the wheels? I'll have a look about see if I can find one. If not what size are the tyres (they look quite new) and will see if somebody has a set of alloys if you have no joy finding one of the originals.
The wheels are ATS cups size 15” 6j et35 100pcd, there are more 7j wheels for sale, might go eurostyle and stretch the tyres if I can’t get a replacement 😂thanks for the help 👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Shame about hitting the kerb but made a useful video. Hopefully I won't need to replace my rear axle beam, but handy seeing how those pesky rear brake shoes come off and go back on. Thanks 👍
@@aaanton11 No problems,High millage car so I thought id replace them. Christmas project while on holiday. Did all the fronts apart from ARB six months back.
Thought about this too as I'm thinking of taking the axle off the car to treat rust and paint up (both axle and underbody) as will make it a fair bit easier. No play in the bushes but they look a bit naff. Did you replace yours in the end?
Just like a Yaris Mk1 except for the back exhaust.I did my rear shocks and coil springs 3 months ago,it is that easy to do.Never done my rear brakes thou for that reason...fiddly isn't me or for me.Nice job and nice video.QUESTION- My Yaris never had a retainer screw for the drums,is it bad not to have them?
there's nothing more painful than watching a wheel slam into a curb. My dad was dropping me off somewhere when i was younger and it was extremely icy. Next thing we know, we're going round a corner but sideways, and we slam into the curb. It was like the car all of sudden became onset with rickets it was that wobbly XD. What hurts more is we we're only going about 8MPH and the car was somewhat expensive.
I don’t rate them, fitting a k&n Filter is just as good, the vvt needs a good intake swirl, the standard air box delivers this, by removing it you loose power, thanks for the great comments 👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Alright fella only just found your channel by mistake but found your videos good are you a good D I Y er or a real mechanic I noticed uv got a good battery gun and rachet and a pit in your garage which is more than most d I y guys have
