    I bought a 2022 speed twin 900 . I’ve had a sportster, 2 BMWs 310GS and 750 GS.
    I love this Bike, quick, nimble, smooth.
    I love the low torque and low speed ( better than Harley) low center of gravity and low seat made stopping and slow turning super easy more so than the above 3 bikes mentioned.
    I find myself looking for excuses to go and ride it!
    I feel it’s the best Bike I have ever had.
    I want to look at the New 400 Scambler for a littler more off road riding.
    Love love love this Motorcycle!!!
    Thanks for your video!
    Ed

    I got a mat ironstone coloured one a month ago. Absolutely love it. Getting compliments and looks everytime I'm out riding. It's got the looks, it's got the sound and it has the speed. It's my first bike, and this one is a keeper. Great review

    Hi Kaz
    Just come across channel as I was searching Speed Twin 900 reviews, I went for a test ride on one a couple of weeks ago and was well impressed with the comfort,agility,overall handling and the performance of it, and I was grinning all the time whilst out on it. in fact I went back to the dealership a week later and bought one{red/chrome} and I collect it shortly, glad to see that you were impressed by the oem heated grips as i specced them for my bike and they weren't cheap so glad to hear they work well, I shall watch some more of your reviews from now on.

    I bought a 1969 Triumph T120r recently, I’m 68 years old and I always wanted a vintage Triumph. I haven’t ridden a motorcycle since I was in my 20’s. I’m learning to ride all over again, and it’s loads of fun. I love my Tiger 650, because it’s so light and responsive. The ‘Speed Twin’ you rode is very tempting, one might be in my future. It blends old with new technology. Sure beats drum brakes. 😅

    I almost bought this exact bike in black last fall, but ended up buying a Trident. All winter I've been thinking about this bike. I'm on the edge of trading in the Trident for one of these.

      That’s funny, my friend has just done that - traded in his Trident for the Speed Twin 900, he absolutely loves it 😎
      It does look good in the black, the colour suits the bike 🏍

    • @ruahinesrider
      @ruahinesrider 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I too am thinking 🤔 about trading Trident 🔱 in for Speedtwin 900 but want more info on fuel range with 12L tank.I've seen different answers from 60-68mpg & Triumph states 68mpg but reckon 60mpg is more accurate so about 133miles per 10L of fuel so about 220km per 10L leaving 2L in tank.My Trident 🔱 averages 4.5 per 100km so 60mpg which is the same but has larger tank of 14L but find myself topping up after 200-230km 10.5L with 3.5L in tank Speedtwin 900 12L tank & 210-220 km per 10L should be enough.

    • @dustytriumph
      @dustytriumph 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I traded the Trident end of August and I could not be happier. The Trident really was not me. The ST900 totally is.@@BikerKazZ

    • @dustytriumph
      @dustytriumph 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't pay any attention to my fuel range or mpg. Sorry I can't be helpful. I always have my screen set to RPM's. Every once in a while toggling thru the screen I'll notice something like 54 miles mpg but that's of course going to depend on how and where you ride. If you're light and steady on the throttle you'll get better mpg and range.@@ruahinesrider

    • @ruahinesrider
      @ruahinesrider 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@dustytriumph Thanks I just saw a few others that said about 55-57mpg & not going slow I reckon 205-215km(126-130miles) per 10-10.5L leaving 1.5-1.7L in tank.200 Which is good enough for me.

      I had a Wing. Beware! Latest ones maybe OK but the 1800 models have issues with forks as they do not cope with the weight. .
      They were cramped to ride Motor like a sewing machine. Terrible wind buffeting.
      Hard to service.

      @@buddhastaxi666 the one I've bought is a 20 year old 1500 with full service history.
      It's immaculate and runs like a dream. A few mods have been done so it's not original, but my god it looks good.

      @@tonytasker489 Further info...I bought a low mileage F6B Wing...just like a Goldwing in most aspects except mainly the screen height.
      The 1500 and the original did not suffer from obesity.
      The 1800 was the potato that sat in the couch. Thats why Honda revised the model.
      I was disappointed as I live in isolated countryside in West Australia and a comfortable shielded cruiser with luggage is beneficial to me. My nearest shop is a 60 kms trip.
      I made a small profit on the F6B when i traded it for a 1900 Roadliner.
      I personally prefer a v twin.
      Would have been nice to have some Wing luxury ...except dont want a radio. I still have an aerial off the Wing somewhere.

    A front wheel diameter larger than the rear increases the gyroscopic effect which increases stability. All bikes were once like that, then they switched to same size as a result of racing feedback, that gives a bike instability but more ease to change direction mid corner.
    My 1200 Thruxton has same setup as does my Roadliner. My zx14R had the racing setup .

      @@BikerKazZ tadaaaa! *drumroll* I did it. Test ride last Tuesday. At first, not convinced regarding seating position. Bum-to-heel distance a bit too short. Startet off with early up shift gears. Where’s the power. But after 30 mins I got comfortable with the Speed Twin 900. Proper shifting unleashed the power while the Speed Twin never gets mean or unfriendly. The sound from the pipes like a heavenly tune. The handling as easy as. Y former Royal Enfield 500 Classic EFI. Much better than my current but ancient BMW R65. I fell in love from the looks alone the weekend before. My one is brand new from the dealership. Matte Iron Grey with luggage bags left and right. Matching colour flyscreen. Negotiated with the super friendly sales guy and made the deal. Paid next day through real time money transfer. Dealer kept his promise and retrieved the paper in no time. Bike will be prepared for street readiness until next week. Hope I get a slot at the municipal vehicle registration office on Monday and can fetch the bike on Tuesday. I’m so excited I cannot set in words. Strongest and fastest bike I ever owned. Got only positive feedback on that machine from my brother and my friends. 😍😍😍😍😍
