I bought a 2022 speed twin 900 . I’ve had a sportster, 2 BMWs 310GS and 750 GS. I love this Bike, quick, nimble, smooth. I love the low torque and low speed ( better than Harley) low center of gravity and low seat made stopping and slow turning super easy more so than the above 3 bikes mentioned. I find myself looking for excuses to go and ride it! I feel it’s the best Bike I have ever had. I want to look at the New 400 Scambler for a littler more off road riding. Love love love this Motorcycle!!! Thanks for your video! Ed
That’s fabulous to hear Ed, sounds like the 900 is the perfect bike for you, it is a great bike , I liked it 😎 The 400 Scrambler and Speed are so much fun to ride 😜
I got a mat ironstone coloured one a month ago. Absolutely love it. Getting compliments and looks everytime I'm out riding. It's got the looks, it's got the sound and it has the speed. It's my first bike, and this one is a keeper. Great review
Ahh that’s brilliant Adam, so great to hear that it’s perfect for you 🤩🤩🤩 the colour Matt Ironstone makes me think it should be in a private detective series 😆

Hi Kaz Just come across channel as I was searching Speed Twin 900 reviews, I went for a test ride on one a couple of weeks ago and was well impressed with the comfort, agility, overall handling and the performance of it, and I was grinning all the time whilst out on it. in fact I went back to the dealership a week later and bought one{red/chrome} and I collect it shortly, glad to see that you were impressed by the oem heated grips as i specced them for my bike and they weren't cheap so glad to hear they work well, I shall watch some more of your reviews from now on.
Hey Nigel, Thank you for watching my review, I really appreciate that ☺️ excellent news about your ST too, I think they’re a cracking bike and incredibly fun to ride too, I hope you have many miles and smiles on your bike 🏍️😎
I bought a 1969 Triumph T120r recently, I’m 68 years old and I always wanted a vintage Triumph. I haven’t ridden a motorcycle since I was in my 20’s. I’m learning to ride all over again, and it’s loads of fun. I love my Tiger 650, because it’s so light and responsive. The ‘Speed Twin’ you rode is very tempting, one might be in my future. It blends old with new technology. Sure beats drum brakes. 😅
I like the sound of your '69 T120r, Andre, very nice bike 😎 what I love about the Speed Twin 900 is, as you say, old school looking bike but with modern technology. I'm not a fan of drum brakes either 😆
I almost bought this exact bike in black last fall, but ended up buying a Trident. All winter I've been thinking about this bike. I'm on the edge of trading in the Trident for one of these.
That’s funny, my friend has just done that - traded in his Trident for the Speed Twin 900, he absolutely loves it 😎 It does look good in the black, the colour suits the bike 🏍 Let me know if you do trade in the Trident, I’d be interested to hear what you think about the Speed Twin ☺️
I too am thinking 🤔 about trading Trident 🔱 in for Speedtwin 900 but want more info on fuel range with 12L tank.I've seen different answers from 60-68mpg & Triumph states 68mpg but reckon 60mpg is more accurate so about 133miles per 10L of fuel so about 220km per 10L leaving 2L in tank.My Trident 🔱 averages 4.5 per 100km so 60mpg which is the same but has larger tank of 14L but find myself topping up after 200-230km 10.5L with 3.5L in tank Speedtwin 900 12L tank & 210-220 km per 10L should be enough.
I don't pay any attention to my fuel range or mpg. Sorry I can't be helpful. I always have my screen set to RPM's. Every once in a while toggling thru the screen I'll notice something like 54 miles mpg but that's of course going to depend on how and where you ride. If you're light and steady on the throttle you'll get better mpg and range.@@ruahinesrider
@@dustytriumph Thanks I just saw a few others that said about 55-57mpg & not going slow I reckon 205-215km(126-130miles) per 10-10.5L leaving 1.5-1.7L in tank.200 Which is good enough for me.

A front wheel diameter larger than the rear increases the gyroscopic effect which increases stability. All bikes were once like that, then they switched to same size as a result of racing feedback, that gives a bike instability but more ease to change direction mid corner.
