GUITAR 54 fix: NUX MG-30 news of firmware V 5.0.1

- Hi dear friends,
after 3 years from the launch of our beloved NUX MG-30, NUX has released officially the firmware 5.0.1 which includes a bunch of major updates, some of them I personally would have never thought could become real.
You may have noticed in the last month NUX published a first version of the firmware that proved buggy, many users complained about problems and for that the manufacturer removed it temporarily.
In the meantime they were able to fix the issues and re-published it.
I am really eager to show you the great improvements provided.

Thanks for this, very insightful. I'm not sure you can move an effect from scene to scene, it looked like it moved for all three scenes when you moved it. Also, you CAN have 2 delays and reverb by using the reverb in the Dual Delay Param
Hi, thank-you very much for your feedback. You are perfectly right. I can confirm moving blocks affects all scenes together. Keeping this on top for reference of other friends. About the use of Duotime you are right again, I was not so clear in the video, I wanted to remark you can have two delay blocks but not 2 reverb blocks. Duotime is incredibly powerful indeed but note technically the parameter knob is not exactly a reverb even if it makes it sound like that
A great and simple explanation of all the new features. I just bought this unit used and I payed a very small price for what it is, also I'm primary a bass guitar player I found a lot of nice cabs and amps for it too !!! Combined with my analog pedals and the Send/Return option I'm now in heaven !!! Thanks for your video !!

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Everything was thoroughly & well explained. For me, the Pro Scenes is a deal clincher. Effectively therefore, one has 3 presets in one. That one can also serially have two delays is fantastic. I'm excited just thinking of the possibilities!!! Good strength to you. Again, thank you for your enthusiasm.
PS: I sincerely hope that NuX keeps this model going. At its price, it's a real bargain.

Thank you for your explanation. All of these new features make this device my first choice, and I even prefer it to an Ampero II. Who would have thought what 3-year-old technology could do?
Yep. Ampero 2 is famous for its better distorted sounds but it introduces a longer delay I don't like

The loopback option is not new. New is that you can turn it on and off directly in the device in global settings.

@TutoJam thank you for this. Are you finding that V4 patches sound any different in V5? I heard there was less harsh treble in V5 maybe.
Hi, I did not made an A/B test but I have to say I had a similar impression but cannot tell if it is suggestion due to enthusiasm
I didn't like the fact that when I change scene, the tap time also changes.
They provided all possible levels of freedom. I will double check but I seem to remember if you save the preset then the bpm is fixed for all scenes
V5 wah pedal does not work 😢
Did you recalibrate the expression pedal? Also make sure the input meter is turned off
How is your Valeton GP200?
Still dead. Luckily I could return it. But don't worry, a new one is on its way
I recently buy a new one, it comes with firmaware V3.2.4. Ìs posible to jump directly to V 5.0.1? , Does it have the V 4 updates? or I have to install V4 firmware and after the V5.0.1
If you have some presets you edited and you want to keep them you need to pass through version 4. Version 5 can only import presets exported from version 4
@@TutoJam ok ,understood but I have no presets yet , It is very new, I only want to Know if is possible jump the V4 ,and if V.5 maintains the V4 updates like Lone Star amplifier.
