WARNING: I have updated to V5 and I see that patches created prior to version 4 (like most patches on internet!) are NOT compatible! NUX should provide a conversion tool! I am trying to revert to previous versions.
@@TutoJam no you did not fail but I have written it so it is more visible, and searchable. I have reverted to V4 and been able to reload my previous patches (that I lost because I did not make a global save before going to V5)

I bought a used MG-30 a few months ago and upgraded from V3 to V4 without problems but read so many people saying they had lots of problems upgrading to V5. You have definitely set my mind at rest and I’ll be updating the software soon. All the best, John.
For sure when switching scenes, not sure when switching presets, on a first thought I would say no but I will check when back from a transfer on two weeks
You are not the first telling me. That is partially due to no post production but also many friends like a slow and detailed explanation. I will try to be more synthetic anyway. Thanks for your feedback

Happy to help my friend. Just make sure you backup carefully your presets so that in case you are not happy you can always roll back to version 4
