at 2:26:04, these are Belka and Strelka, they were soviet space dogs, as well as Laika! Belka and Strelka were born on March 2nd, 1958, and went into the Earth's orbit on August 19, 1960 at 2 and a half years of age and a lot of training. they were the first animals to come back alive and well from space, and they spent a little more than 25 hours orbiting Earth. it was sensational news back in the day, the only things that outdid them were Laika's flight (sadly, Laika died in the first hours, but TASS lied about it to the masses and said the dog lived), Gagarin's flight, and later the American moonlanding. truly phenomenal
It is nice to have a horror game these days that doesn't end with just you dying, or showing that whatever the big evil is that's stalking you is unstoppable and everything is for naught.
This game was a work of art. The graphics, the story-style, the horror, the mystery, the sound effects.....SO good! Thanks for the long playthrough! I enjoyed it very much, and you made me laugh a lot, too. 😀
Damn, this game looks so cool. Not your typical jumpscary, gory horror, but a subtle, cryptic tale. Don't think I would have ever played that on my own, so thanks for the video.
This video has become my favourite one to listen to as I sleep. Plenty of Fooster reading with his great voice and commentary, not very loud jumpscares, and an intriguing narrative. Fantastic to distract me from the firework display in my brain to let me focus on sleep. Thanks for helping us insomniacs, Fooster!

I loved every bit of this game - it's so creepy and really goes well building up tension and making you uneasy - even I fell into that, although I wasn't playing and just watching you go through it!

it says Belka and Strelka cosmos travelers or also known by the cartoon series as star dogs, which are two Soviet dogs that were sent to space in the 60s, they both have stuffed like figures in the museum in Moscow (cool figures btw), they do also have a cartoon we used to watch in 2011

@@rayanebenyahia2855No it’s not! It’s like a movie or you can watch it in pieces. I prefer it because it allows for games with longer and deeper stories and for you to watch through like a movie if you choose to.
I love you so much for being able to play these horror games for us. I could never get the strength to play them myself, so thank you for letting me experience them through you!
2:39:11 Was not expecting this. It's a reference to a classic Soviet animation "Hedgehog in the Fog" the ending sequence specifically when the hedgehog finally makes it to their friend's house for tea. Apparently it was a very influential film for it's time
That shadow entity was what knocked down all the stuff when you were exiting the little house, the first time. I slowed it down, it looked like 2 entities, but definitely at least one, and the way it knocked things down, in slo-mo was really eerie. Cool game, btw, I'm glad you came back to it. I can think of a few games I was able to play in 2017-19(3rd best era in gaming, imo), that would be cake to play now, hmm.
Tons of atmosphere and ambiance in this game, all those quiet sounds of rocks and noises in the background. I cannot hear any of it very well on account of my hearing loss so it's nice to have Fooster remark on most of these occurrences. It is how I experience games such as this nowadays. But I do concur, subtle horror is usually the best...the best jump scares in games like FEAR were the scares that had worldbuilding around it. Thanks for the long upload, I prefer long form content especially when it is chill like this. I don't know if this is all you reading a script in post or all live commentary but either way it takes creativity and skill to accomplish both.
Thank you so much for uploading the full play through, and a 3 hour video! You are so great.. your solo videos like this, are the only way I’m able to fall asleep. I have an agonizing Neuro-Muscular disease, and watching you play these games by yourself, calms my spirit down so much. It makes it so much easier for me to fall asleep. Love these extended game plays! Thank you!
I remember watching and playing this years ago. It was a good walking sim horror with a good overall story. The petroglyphs were actually a good lore clue for the darkness as well as some of the stories.
surprised there were no rouge HIPPO EGGS sitting around the the water .[Ancestors The human kind Odyssey] If you have not seen the Ancestors play through watch it.
I loved every minute of it, can't believe it was 3 hours long, it felt shorter, you made this game so much fun so Thanks Fooster
Holy 3 hours
Yea... grab the popcorn or snacks!
@@thefoosterchannelthat's tooo much
@@rayanebenyahia2855what you on?!
@@thefoosterchannelI don’t mind how long it is long as got time to finish it but I like your videos the ending of it still messes with me who is set free
@@rayanebenyahia2855No it’s not! It’s like a movie or you can watch it in pieces. I prefer it because it allows for games with longer and deeper stories and for you to watch through like a movie if you choose to.
40:46 "Иди в дом" (Idi v dohm). Learning Russian, proud of myself that I could read that instantly! 😁
The level of immersion you put into your videos, along with MANY other reasons, is why you're mine and my finances favorite TH-camr to binge!
I love you so much for being able to play these horror games for us. I could never get the strength to play them myself, so thank you for letting me experience them through you!
been hooked on your vids man! love them!
2:39:11 Was not expecting this. It's a reference to a classic Soviet animation "Hedgehog in the Fog" the ending sequence specifically when the hedgehog finally makes it to their friend's house for tea. Apparently it was a very influential film for it's time
😂😂 omg i was laughing so hard with the rake 😂😂😂😂
I have to admit I loved having this long video play in the background as I got stuff done. Thank you for the upload!🎉
Yeah fisk popping up in the window "fooster I found my cabin"
Stepping on the rake and having it smack you in the head 😅 That happened to me a few times, it hurts.
Wooooooooh fooster uploaded👍
Someone needs to make a horror game just for him lmao the amount of thing's he's scared off would make it so good
The amount of evil entities you play with in your videos... your hair must be all grey from stress.
That shadow entity was what knocked down all the stuff when you were exiting the little house, the first time. I slowed it down, it looked like 2 entities, but definitely at least one, and the way it knocked things down, in slo-mo was really eerie. Cool game, btw, I'm glad you came back to it. I can think of a few games I was able to play in 2017-19(3rd best era in gaming, imo), that would be cake to play now, hmm.
luv ur vids man!
This was a really enjoyable video to sit down and watch, and this is the first time hearing about this game and it was really good and I love it
3 hour video?! HOLD ON IM GRABBING A BEER!!!!
Might need a case 😆
Case is in the fridge I'm loaded for bear 👍🤣
Tons of atmosphere and ambiance in this game, all those quiet sounds of rocks and noises in the background. I cannot hear any of it very well on account of my hearing loss so it's nice to have Fooster remark on most of these occurrences. It is how I experience games such as this nowadays. But I do concur, subtle horror is usually the best...the best jump scares in games like FEAR were the scares that had worldbuilding around it. Thanks for the long upload, I prefer long form content especially when it is chill like this. I don't know if this is all you reading a script in post or all live commentary but either way it takes creativity and skill to accomplish both.
you made my day
Adding such joy and wonder to our lives. Few are as good at this as you, Fooster. CHEERS!
Ancient evil? Curse? Is it my ex-wife?!
You’re awesome Fooster..thank you so much 🙏💚
What’s up brother
