ABOUT ABANDONED SOULS:
The player takes on the role of a video blogger, Tim, who loves to explore abandoned places. This time Tim sets off to explore an old abandoned hospital in the midst of a deep forest, to capture exclusive footage for his viewers.
Rumor has it the hospital was somehow connected to a case of disappearances in the area in 1985.
Ok who wants to set up a GoFundMe to send Fooster and Fisk on a paranormal investigation in an abandoned building? 😂
You should do some OF content to raise the cash
@@randyschwaggins LOL. Yeah, people will pay me to keep my clothes ON
Hell. If they can get to Florida I’ll take them out for an investigation that will blow their minds!
Saint Augustine has some amazing places to investigate and I have been doing it for 20 years now. Seen some crazy and unexplainable things!

Fooster, it's not necessarily the existence of noises you hear in the woods that you should fear, it's the absence of noise chill you to the bone lol
As they say....
Silence is deadly.
@@zwordsmanthey only say that when you quietly shart yourself in the car
the existence of noises means that the forest is relatively safe, but the absence of noises means that there is something even the wildlife fear
The fact that fooster adjusts the echo of his mic is insane.
Its the details other people dont care about but fooster goes the extra mile.
I think twitch has that new feature where it changes the mic depending on environment.
@@lordfordification i dont think fooster streams on twitch, him and fisk do livestreams on youtube, they both have software to change their audio.
its unnecessary
maybe for You, not for everyone :) for us its nice detail that builds immersion. Because it is these 'unnecessary' details that build the whole experience, immersion and make the experience more pleasant.@@karls8103
@@karls8103 Naa, it adds just an extra layer of immersion. Like frosting on a cake, kind of.
Thanks for the video, Lord Fooster.
Personally, I don’t think the creatures wanted to hurt anyone. They tried to scare you away numerous times when they could have easily killed you. It was more like they acted in self defense of what they considered their home. They actually seemed kind of childlike.
I agree. To me, it kind of felt like they wanted the information to be found. Like maybe they had an inkling of their previous lives and wanted it to be known? I dunno I just think if they'd really wanted him gone he never would have made it out
What were these developers on?! This is so detailed, giving the time they took to make this game. Truly a new breed of dedication, talent, and creativity.
Passionate Drugs of Loving something so deeply that they wanna give great energy to it 😌😌😌☺️☺️☺️☺️
Nice environment spoilt by cheap no talent no scare jump scares. The usual lazy trash. Real abandoned buildings have got more unnerving atmosphere. Game is as scary as a ghost hunter on a tv show who got scared by their own shadow.
Passion, they were drunk on passion. And it made them create this amazing game.
@@mikewade777kinda rude don’t you think?
Its not that hard for developers todo this. You can upload textures you find in photos/videos off the internet, and compile it with AI to make it look like that. It used to be a very long process in which people had to travel to a location, take thousands of photos, then compile them into a 3d environment. See Condemned for the Xbox 360 for an example. But now its not really an issue and is much more accessible
Fooster, you need to look into narrating audiobooks, you have a fantastic voice for it! Love your videos by the way, even more when Fisk is with you, you guys are a riot!!!
I totally agree!!
You’re right his voice is perfect for audiobooks
I worked at a hospital before. Use to do security at one. 2 floors were under construction. You needed a special key to get to those floors. Construction workers would report hearing kids playing in the area. They would chase them. Yell at the kids asking how they got there. Asking where their parents were. They turn the corner only to see nothing. They would see shoe prints on the floor from the dust and dirt. With the crew continuing to have strange encounters. They went to hospital management team and told them that they would only work from 6am to 7 pm. If they didn't agree to their terms. They would walk. We would have to check those floors late at night. The lights would flicker off and on. Radios didn't work well in the area. It felt off being there. Like you were being watched. Stange voices at random. Unstable unusual cold air at parts of the area. Foot prints that shouldn't be there. It made your neck hairs stand up. It was pretty creepy. You got that feeling that you shouldn't be in the area. The closer you got to the specific area. It just didn't feel right. I got the feeling like something bad happened. I stopped checking that 1 location altogether. Unless a sensor alarm or some type of alarm was going off to check on. I didn't bother going near the area.
Also animal sounds late at night can be creepy. Peacocks sound weird. Coyotes, mountain lions, elks, bears, various birds.
So essentially you are the last individual I would want to hire. You let your pretend beliefs get in the way of your job, instead of just being an adult and accepting that this nonsense is for kids. When You Believe in such nonsense every noise you hear has to do with ghosts, as opposed to a rational individual that would investigate and find that most of the time it's noises from equipment, various animals, settling buildings, echoes, wind you name it.
@sacr3 this comment is honestly pointless. You never worked at a hospital before. Your comment shows that you wouldn't be a good supervisor and I feel sorry for anyone that would have to work under you. I seen your kind at job sites before. Never ended well for those supervisors
@@lofivibes3640 oh give it a rest and grow up, I've worked Security in an old mining School that had a lot of individuals make a lot of silly claims about spirits and ghosts, surprise, there wasn't anything. It's like children never really grow up and realize that it's all in their head. Go ahead and continue to pretend that ghosts are real and have your fun with your borderline insanity. On a side note I'd probably go get checked for mild schizophrenia if you're having auditory hallucinations, a lot of people go undiagnosed throughout life and they attribute their mild hallucinations and auditory hallucinations to ghosts.
@@sacr3What the actual hell is wrong with you? If you’re going to be a jerk for no fucking reason then get lost.
The fact that you couldn't run that fast was absolutely terrifying. What an awesome and well done horror experience, especially for such a small team. Cheers, Fooster, for making it through.
coyotes aren't all that scary to hear at night while camping. Want to hear something terrifying, go to Mountain Lion country during mating season....I had no idea what it was the first time my Dad took me out into the hills hunting. He got a big ol' laugh out of it.
Vixens aswell, they have a scream like woman in pain.
Lol living at the foot of the Appalachian mountains I can concur.
Loons.
@@MorrisseysMonkeyI agree. That's probably the worst sound I've ever heard until I knew what was making it. Sounded like a woman getting stabbed to death.
Mountain Lions and Foxes can be terrifying if you don't know what is making that sound. When I was a teen I was walking through some woods just exploring and a Mountain Lion was paralleling me for at least a mile. Felt like 10 miles to me. I'd have to try and keep an eye on it while walking the other direction and not walk into something else. No cell phones back then. All I had was a branch I found on the way and I'm sure if I had to hit it with that branch it would have easily broke on the first hit.
Totally agree with what Fooster said at the beginning of the video about the coyotes. They are extremely loud and when you first hear them begin to howl in the middle of the night from the trees, it is extremely unsettling.
As a nurse, I have to admit that I find even normal hospitals at bit creepy at night sometimes.
Fooster: I love exploring abandoned places, but I would bring the brightest torch, night vision, thermal vision...
Me: Screw that, I'd be bringing a bunch of people, security detail, weapons, granades etc.
😂😂

I can't believe I'm sitting in the dark watching this, it is giving me chills as well... love these scary games Fooster Cheers to you for playing this :)
The person who taught me to explore abandoned buildings showed I should have a soft light (cheapo light) for outside but a hard light ( super bright) for inside. Especially extra lighting like glow sticks and flares just in case you get into an accident
You must have nerves of steel... 👻

Honestly I realy like the red lights for outside, as it doens't harm your night vision and they are lesss noticable. (albiet some brands I can't see proprerly due to my eye physiology specifically).
having that and a stronger one for inside is good.
but yeah. have one of those max world is the sun lanterns is a good choice. I love glow sticks too for a simlir reason, and no fire risk. Flares i've not used much due to that.
...but i'm also the type who carries a revolver, baton and stun gun. and a siren in a can
So i'm not the best example
I Swear every horror game fooster plays he sees or hears something nobody else does then he freaks out so I freak out.
I’m constantly rewinding to see what he hears or sees 0.3 seconds ago. I love it ❤😂
The fact that everything that happened IN THE BEGINNING actually happened and dude didnt HAUL ASS back to his car immediately is wild asf to me!! As soon as i'd found the axe on the note in the shed telling me to go away, im gone lol. I know when to follow directions 😅🤣 the protag going at a leisurely pace the whole time drove me crazy 🤣🤣🤣
Are you single
Obviously, no one in their "right mind" would have been in this situation at all. But after THE AXE IN MY CAR IM GOING HOME. SOMETHING IS SERIOUS, AND I AM LISTENING.
Holy crap that entity was basically showing you the future😮 I think there was a path that would have ended up killing you to where you could not make it out alive
When I was in grade school, my class took a field trip to Alcatraz. This was back when it was open and very accessible. My little posse of tweens were wandering around a fascinating old island prison. Walking about we entered into a hall with a stair case descending and on the opposite side a staircase ascending. A couple of adults were defending opposite and we passed them as we exchanged positions, up the staircase we went into the old hospital section. This is broad daylight mind you, and luckily there were plenty of windows. Not a soul in our new hospital section, and plenty of old medical remnants were scatter about. Within a cell was a metal bed with straps, and another door within the cell. We were all a bit uneasy, but we a group of us opened the swinging door and entered the cell. The first of us got to the second door within the cell when the first door we entered violently slammed shut. We all screamed and ran for our bloody lives. Didnt see another person until we emerged out into the open daylight. To this day have no idea what was on the other side of that second door. And Im just fine with that.
15:54 my boy said ebidence🤣🤣🤣I caught that shit. That's how you know he scared as hell🤣🤣🤣
Nice atmospheric horror short. The rendering of the game was really good, and dark to increase the immersion into the game. As a young teenager we had lots of abandoned facilities and manor type houses around. We used to have great fun exploring them. One huge place roughly 4 acres had huts and a 5 floor building which had a large underground bunker/air raid shelter from WW2. No power so torches were used, back then late 60's torches were about as much use as a candle in a hurricane. We used to scare each other and sometimes strangers. Great fun. Be safe take care 👍
(Morgan Freeman voice) No crowbar. Shit flashlight. No snacks. It was at this moment that Tim knew he f**ked up.
When I was younger I went with a group of guys, four of us total, into a massive abandoned hotel. It was insanely creepy!!! We heard doors slamming loudly, someone or something running on floors above us and when we went to that floor it stopped, and then heard it on the floor below us. We thought it was homeless people at first and then quickly realized it was not, that we were the only people in the building... which sent chills down my back. When we were leaving we heard loud noises of pots and pans being thrown in the hotel kitchen but again there was no one there. 16:43 You and Fisk could do it together.
Can you go back and make a video
Fooster you should get a heart rate monitor and overlay your pulse so we can see how scared you are! That would be amazing!
Watching you playing horror games during my lunch (yes, under bright daylight, not during dinner 😂) has become my new hobby
My Wife and I did a ghost tour of an old abandoned mental asylum, bout an hour and half tour in pitch black with horrible little torches, it was one of the worst and best experiences of our lives. Thoroughly recommend people to do it at least once that goes for believers and sceptics. We had both in our group and its funny but the believers felt a little underwhelmed and the sceptics were terrified and horrified with some things we saw.
Fooster, you should try playing Lethal Company with Taco, etc. Would be an awesome series!
Everybody's playing it
"Peace of crap." ✌️ When you're too nice of a person you even made peace with sh*t.

Flashlight: "Alright....fine then!"
As someone that been a part of team clearing out closed down hospitals, often only 2 ppl a time moving older equipment from one place to another, i can tell you that the feel, and sounds of things moving, pipes knocking and water sounds dripping is a thing. And it really makes the mind accelerate, i could swear i have heard foot steps running towards me and whispering voices. I did 3 total jobs with the company before quitting, just could not deal with feel of being watched and constant mind tricks. This game really captured the feel of feeling watched and stalked. Chills all over!
Damn, only 2 people sent to clear out an entire hospital? I wouldn't stay either especially experiencing possible paranormal activity. 😅 Kudos to you braving out 3 jobs before dipping out.
As a person whos lived in a very rural area my whole life i wanna say noises in woods arent scary... honestly they can even be relaxing...but when you go into the woods at night and hear nothing at all its one of the most unsettling experiences you can have.
Its so much tension and you just feel like at any moment its gonna be chaos
You mean like a predator hiding somewhere nearby and watches you? That kind of silence? Yea
@@combatfox7009 yeah like that😅
@@combatfox7009 it's like you feel it in your spine right BEFORE you realize how quiet it's gotten
@@KorokHaze93 I live in a city but I once saw a black panther or black jaguar on my brick fence through a window during my childhood.. It's not an animal tho... It's a paranormal creature, I can't move when it looks at me. That animal isn't supposed to be in my area I think..
Man.. That thing's so quiet despite being near like 8-10 feet away from me.. It can reach me easily at that distance but it continues to walk on the fence...
In other words, I get what you mean 😅
Maybe that's why I don't like being in the dark...
33:40" you horrible pieces of Shit" I don't know if it's just me but that's definitely the first time I heard Fooster cuss.😅
I thought I would tell you. People are not afraid of being alone in the dark.
They are afraid they are not alone. In the dark.
Also, that's gotta be the slowest car alarm I've ever heard. Granted, it's old, but dang it's still loud!
This is like that great @TheBeardedExplorer video where the ball rolls across the floor in the hospital he does an urbex in! Awesome!
Fooster!! Dude, I have no idea how you and Fisk have not found yourselves in a mental ward. I'm on the edge of my seat every time I watch your videos! You've got to do a group chat when
you do one of these videos. Cheers Mate!
The worst part about that kind of places is finding real people there, I'm more scared of that than finding ghosts.
Having played this I knew foosters arse would be falling off 😂, if you ever want to go exploring let me know bro , would love to take you on an explore with us , we’re camping out in rendlesham forest also known as the UKs Area 51 in a couple of weeks , I honestly think you’d love it
Serial killer vibes 😂
This game is a really well done psychological horror number. Nothing actually happens - but you're walking with your ass on ice the whole time.
Thanks for this entertaining video, Fooster!
I'd love to see you and fisk do a real life video of haunted hospital together
That was definitely disturbing. Amazing the vlogger got out of there.
the problem is that there are multiple sound coming from all the direction all one after one and you can't recognize which one is basically the dangerous one that comes right after you and have to be careful of when you play this game for the first time cause of a mixed up noises around you
yooooo 22 minutes in, after the ad, and I thought the video was about to end... NOOO!!! The video's 52 freakin minutes! Omg This has to be one of the scariest things i've ever witnessed, and for sure one of the scariest games i've ever seen... it's just soo realistic omg
I’m hiding behind my sofa I swear…I love you dearly Fooster but stop it…jump scares…oh hell no…x
Everything about these experiments sounds like super mutants from Fallout. Great. Fooster has stumbled into a West Tek facility.
Those giants in the tanks were just BFG’s, they wanted to be your friend and hug you. 🤗
the best youtuber ever ong
honestly from my urban exploring stories , two times there were times i either could have died or happend upon something fucked up , first i was exploring an abandoned kodiak building and didnt have a good flashlight , nearly fell into a 15+ft hole with a piece of plyboard over top , was so glad my reflexes saved me.
another time was exploring an abandoned leather factory and stumbling across some kind of satanic ritual space , serious. there was dead birds everywhere , in the sinks on the counters and an upside down cross with a pidgeon nailed to it upside down. there was alot of messed up things from this adventure though it was in the span of like 7 visits to the same location.
all i gotta say is when urban exploring bring a good flashlight lol
Even without showing the creature fully , they maintained that Horror Environment all Round through the Game via Background Sounds , Love it 🩵
I don’t know what scares me more, the games he plays or his reactions to scary things 😂😂
44:18 Thanks for the nightmare fuel, Fooster!
Ngl, the constant achievement noises are so immersion breaking. Shame on the dev for such an oversight.
Talking about the types of people that explore theese places...So there's an abandoned high school in my area called central that is absolutely MASSIVE. It's located in Flint Michigan. The school was built on the grounds of an old mental hospital roughly 100 years ago. This school is legitimately the biggest school I have ever seen in my life. I have spent countless nights in the pitch black wandering around the place with only me and a friend. There's been nights we've been in there at 2 in the morning in pure darkness just blasting death metal and hanging out. I've seen all kinds of weird and crazy things in that place from other people we've encountered there, to the building itself, to arguably more supernatural things. I could go on and on about stories centered around that place. There's a bomb shelter beneath it filled with cold war rations There's a radio tower on the roof that I've climbed several times. We've ran into people cutting up stolen vehicles in the auto shop. Encountered countless groups of other urban explorers, heard voices right next to me that have came from NO ONE I was with. And I could go on and on. All in all I've never really been scared in the place or any abandoned place. But I can say from ample personal experience There's always something more to these places than meets the eye.
That first dude jumped out right as I was taking a drink from my beer😂😂😂 I’m covered in beer now
at 11:20 where the "zombie" chases hi into the building,i dont think its a zombie,i think its a drunk hobo
You have a crowbar. A. Crowbar! Games that give you a crowbar are per definition better ones.
An exploration like this IRL should never be done alone. Only a fool would do that. Always go with someone else or more, both for safety and evidence retrieval. Those who wander around in mysteriously abandoned locations by their lonesome are just asking for trouble since anything could happen and they don't have somebody else to give assistance. Well done game though. I would consider this more a suspense than horror game.
2:18 lol I didn’t expect it but at the same time I didn’t jump or get scared 😂
I wish I was as tough and manly as you Fooster, balls of Steel Fooster they say ! 😜
me and my buddy went into Byberry insane asylum in 2006 it was my idea even though i wasn't the adventurous one it was slated to be knocked down so i wanted to go one in we found medical papers just left on the ground wheel chairs it was actually sad to walking through the building.
Okay so I put headphones on and turned the lights out for this one. Made it sooooooo intense. Lol. Great game
I can confirm that the vocal calls of coyotes & wolves are both eerily & hauntingly beautiful while also being unnerving in a primal way. Although not nearly as terrifying as the scream of a panther which eerily sounds human.
-I’ve lived my entire life(40yrs)living in the extremely rural South…ie on 98 acres bordering National Forest on 2.5 sides with only 1 neighbor not family living on the property living 2 miles away or on 76 acres with our house near the center surround on 3 sides by National Forest with the closest neighbor over 3 miles away.
-So I’m extremely familiar with & comfortable in the deep forest…as well as with the wildlife in my region. Frequently traversing the hundreds of miles of hiking, horse, dirt bike & ATV trails maintained by the forestry dept & users of the trails plus multiple day canoe trips through the National Forest land via creeks & rivers. As well as exploring the forest on & off my properties without marked paths while hunting, foraging or just to enjoy/experience nature/wildlife. Meaning I’ve spent many nights out deep in the forest and since the forest extends literally where my backyard ends means wildlife comes right up to my yard at times.
-I’ve seen both coyote & wolf packs far too close up for comfort both during the day & at night. Despite what many believe wolves are typically far less scary as they need to be shy thus avoid humans as much as possible. While coyote individuals & packs can often lose their fear of humans…especially if stray dogs become bred into a pack further removing their natural fear of humans. Making the risk of being attacked by an individual or especially pack of coyotes far higher.
-Plus the southern wolf population was amount extinct until fairly recently(last 20-30yrs) when small packs have been reintroduced & populations have slowly risen. As you may have guessed wolves are one of my most favorite animals. And the only 4 times I’ve seen them in person in the wild are treasured experiences…seeming both magical & terrifying at the time.
You really need to break that up into paragraphs if you want people to read it. Unfortunately I've never see a wolf in person but my uncle apparently had one visit his ranch a time or two. He made plaster casts of the paw prints. They were almost as big as my hand ( i wear XL gloves). His vet said it would have to be over 200 pounds to be that big and that deep of a print.
@@Necrowolf81 Sorry. Intended to go back & break it up into “paragraphs” but it was late & I apparently I forgot.🤦🏻♀️ I put paragraphs in quotes since in social media posts that typical equates to only 2-4 sentences. Not what passes for one in almost any other form of writing.
- Yea depending on the type of wolf they can be massive. Most people don’t comprehend exactly how big they truly are. Which without anything between you and the animal even a large coyote seems much larger. Thankfully when I’ve seen wild wolves briefly close up I’ve been on an ATV, horseback & twice already in a tree overlooking some game trails & a stream. And I had a gun on me all 4 times just in case. Coyotes I’ve seen many times fairly close & a few times far too close. As we had a couple packs of coyotes that had bred with some large dogs people had dumped off & they eventually had to be taken out.
This has been so much fun to watch. I squawked out loud at one of the jump scares ... everyone in the canteen looked round at me 😅
I don't like taking walks around where I live because there's an abandoned school where you'll see guys driving up in Vans and walking in suspiciously then the next day you'll be walking by and hear screaming people who are on meth that I have to walk by to go there so what's the big deal just walk through enough people and then you're screaming from a basement I think it's😂
Fooster, you are my hero! I love these videos that you make! I would be terrified to do this but if you asked me to, I would go with you in a heartbeat! Thank you!
As much as this is just a game, these type of atrocities did actually take place, specially in ww2 by the Japanese. You can check on Unit 731 where they conducted brutal human experimentations on innocent civilians and POWs as part of their bio warfare development scheme. Quite tragic and haunting.
Fooster brings the sun to explore the darkest places on earth.
By unlocking the door you let them loose Fooster. Because all the cops found was clothing from the missing people now they are loose and looking for you.
My guess is they weren't hostile towards you, if they were, you'd long since dead. They wanted you to expose what happened here by using you because they knew you had nothing to do with it.
Fooster be visiting an abandoned house kitted out like a COD Cheater with Wallhack an everything so there is no way someone can surprise him 😂
Idk why but I like your voice so much it makes it more intense
I don't care that you wouldn't do such explorations irl. The fact that you continuisely record yourself playing horror games that seem to genuinely freak you and don't cope by becoming obnoxious is alrighty mighty courageous. Keep it up
Haven't seen the video yet but I already know that this is going to be a juicy one.
That thing reminds me of Sméagol from the lord of the rings. Is it tasty? Is it scrumptious?
Totally gave me Grave Encounters vibes! Absolutely loved this!
I really like Fooster, but I really dislike horrorgames. They scare me, I find them horrifying so that's tough luck for me. But I keep watching some videos just to like them and get the algorythm in Foosters favor.
10:24 ~ Okay, good game. A little short.
Let's all climb into the Ford Explorer knock-off SUV and head home now!
That was great! I really enjoyed this game! And fooster great host like always!
Gonna be honest, if your "great" idea revolves around visiting an abandoned place for clout you deserve whatever paranormal bs you encounter 🤣
I am watching this at night. Helps me sleep.

I watched the 'don't look up" part like 3 times.... Still pretty damn certain that was Gollum.
I heald my breath WAAAY too many time during this video! Lol
Yeah that flashlight is so under powered, I have five here in my home, that would be able to cast a 5K white beam from one end of the room to the other.
But I guess if you could see everything, and keep the dead running terror from the handheld ray of sunlight, the jump scares just wouldn't work very well.
Well, creatures that fast and powerful could've taken your slow character at any time. They must have wanted the main character to shed light on the situation. They wanted their families to know.
Fooster, Fisk, and Taco should all get together and visit a haunted house or an abandoned hospital
When theres was the first jump scare I screamed so loud 😂

Every time you took a hard breath fooster I thought I was a big monster of some kind lol that kept me Even more on edge🎉
Hey fooster! You should play lethal company with fisk! (or me)
As a Night Shift security officer in a mental hospital built in the 1860’s I can 100% confirm you do NOT want to do this
Found you by accident and went back and binge watched your stuff. You gonna do more SCUM?
Foster, it takes all my courage to watch you play this and that’s with the volume low as possible and as low on darkness too..
So I have no idea how you have the courage to play this
Fisk, taco, olaf, and fooster should go to a haunted place together 😂
I mean, if you want to be real
Insane asylums had malpractice, and they did tests and tortured the patients. In the early 1800s, they were shunned, and 1930s-1950s doctors preferred electroshock therapy. Even injecting hospital patients with cancer cells and giving hepatitis to mental patients. I dont know where i was going with this because 💨im high. I wish i stopped on the time stamp but im too lazy to go back and find it. Love the videos Fooster. 😂
