Live on Tyne Tees show "Alright Now" in 1979. This is time-stamped but in better quality than what is already on TH-cam. Also, the only other version of The Israelites on TH-cam doesn't have the original footage, only the audio.

Just another incredible performance by The Clash. They have never truly received the respect that they deserve...to me, they are one of the top 3 bands of all time...behind only The Beatles and The Who. RIP, Joe...and Long Live THE CLASH!!

It is absolute gold and for both of you wondering about the presenter doing backing vocals ..........Denis "Den" Hegarty (born 13 September 1954, Dublin, Ireland) is a rock and roll, doo-wop and a cappella singer, television presenter, and now a psychology lecturer at Exeter College and with the Open University, but he is still singing. He has fronted an a cappella band called Slackapella, plus a 15-piece outfit called Soul Traders, and he still sings with the doo-woppers, The Metrotones.
