Masha’Allah! Islam is the TRUTH because the message of it has always existed since the creation of the universe. Islam is the ONLY faith which is NOT named after a Person, a Place, or People. It’s a VERB, a way of life. All the previous Prophets in the Torah and Bible were Muslims…
      - The word for God in Hebrew is Eloah. This was the language of Prophet Musa (Moses)
      - The word for God in Aramaic is Alah. This is the language of Prophet Isa (Jesus)
      - The word for God in Arabic is Allah. This was the language of Prophet Muhammad.
Peace and Blessings be Upon Them All. They all worshipped and prayed to the same Creator in the same way also…
      Moses and Aaron
      Numbers 20:6
6 "...they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto them."
      Jesus
      Matthews 26:39
39 "Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed"
      Muhammad
      Holy Quran 31:22
22 “And whoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good - then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And to Allah will be the outcome of [all] matters.”
      Holy Quran 22:77
77 “O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good - that you may succeed.”
      Holy Quran 2:43
43 “And establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience].”
I will greet you the same way as Moses and Jesus in the Bible greeted people by saying Assalaamu Alaykum (Peace Be With You) in Islam…
Moses in Hebrew - Sholem Aleichem (Peace Be With You).
      Jesus In Aramaic…
      John 20:21
21 "Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you!”
      Luke 24:36
36 "While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you."
Muhammad in Arabic - Assalaamu Alaykum (Peace Be With You).
It has always been One God, One Message, and One Humanity.
May Allah GUIDE those who are sincere and honest before it’s too late for them.

An excellent experience to watch this V-Log. Professor Jerald is very clear about what he is saying and believing. After watching the videos of Western and Eastern reverts, I started developing a feeling that the future of Islam lies in the hands of these reverts due to the fact their pure and clear belief in Allah and the Quran is far away from the impurities of culture. We born Muslims have mixed up a lot of our cultural practices into Islam and made it impure. Sooner or later the leadership of the entire Muslim ummah will be in the hands of these clear and pure reverts free from the impurities of culture. Watching and listening to the views of Western and educated reverts helps to clean my own wrong beliefs and strengthen my belief in Allah and the Quran.
One more thing. When all these reverts came back to Islam, they joined it fully and wholeheartedly not in pieces. Whereas we born Muslims practice Islam as per our needs over time and do a lot of bad things that are forbidden in Islam. This is our biggest mistake and dilutes our faith. I pray to Allah that we may be forgiven for all our wrongdoings throughout these years of our lives when we were rewarded to be born into a Muslim family. Still, we didn't appropriately reciprocate, and thanks to Allah for this big blessing.

This delightful and beloved brother nails it and is such a shining example. I wish Muslims would listen well and internalize more. If you are an angry, self-righteous, protesting, poor-etiquette, and entitled individual boasting about your Islam, you have missed the mark completely and probably most often doing more harm to the religion and community than any good. Remember you will be held accountable for this with Allah and falling back on a given Muslim identity won’t help you. The prophet (pbuh) said his mission is solely to perfect your “akhlaq” (intrinsic etiquette and character/disposition).

Sadly as another commenter pointed out the good Prof. in the video has passed away now Mashallah, may Allah forgive him and grant him Jahanna Ameen.
I would however like to refer you to a source-
      ...
Abu Zayd al-Balkhi (850-934) was a Muslim psychologist and physician during the Islamic Golden Age. His many contributions were vital to the understanding of mental health as well as how to treat various mental illnesses. Al-Balkhi is famous for his work titled “Sustenance of the Body and Soul.” In it, he encouraged other physicians to treat the body and mind as a whole and thus take a holistic approach to medicine. This thinking is significant because it laid the foundation for a psychophysiological approach to healthy living in Medieval Islam. In al-Balkhi’s writings, he explains that the soul experiences an array of emotions such as distress, sadness, and fear when the body undergoes physical illnesses.
The establishment of cognitive therapy is credited to al-Balkhi. When his patients experienced distress, he developed an approach that motivated them to think positively using healthy cognitions. al-Balkhi and other important Islamic scholars also implemented the technique of reciprocal inhibition when treating their patients. Furthermore, al-Balkhi also places emphasis on how environmental factors, such as housing, exercise, and nutrition, can affect a person’s mental wellbeing. al-Balkhi’s contributions also consisted of identifying the difference between psychosis and neurosis. He categorized neuroses into four groups: obsessions, sadness and depression, fear and anxiety, and anger and aggression. The analysis al-Balki made in medieval Islamic psychology is still relevant to modern psychology.

I think its about the strong association between Islam and arabs that some people find it hard to accept muslim identity at first. Theyre scared of letting their nationality go (even tho its not real).. They think if theyre going to speak Arabic 5 times a day and dress like most Arabs then how can i still be an American or european? And its a reasonable fear i think. But then people with true faith and love for Allah and Muhammad sav in their heart always pass through that stage Elhamdulillah ❤

    • @zattut

Only 20% of Muslims are Arabs. The reason non Muslims find it a bit confusing between Muslims and tradition is because they associate Islam to Arabs. They think all Arabs are Muslims and all Muslims are Arabs, and that's just wrong.Islam is part of tradition but tradition is not part of Islam.
