    Thanks, awesome. Forgot it already came out, I had pre-downloaded it. going to have fun with it tonight on the Akai Force. I already do use it, but I have to go through Ableton to the Force which is kind of a pain, hoping I like this work flow better. Looks better. Scaler 2 is one of the best plugins on the market, and possibly the best value for what you get.

      Nice!!! I think you’re going to love this workflow over using it with the desktop app!! I actually like using this better than the desktop app with desktop DAWs. The routing is much better to me and things just make more sense. Let us know how it goes!

      @@iPadBeatMaking So I have everything hooked up and midi working to the force and also scaler receiving midi from force. I can't get start/stop to work though. Any ideas why that might be? I have daw sync set to on, on for midi in scaler I have force selected for both input and output.

    • @iPadBeatMaking
      @iPadBeatMaking  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m not using start and stop with scaler stuff all. I’m simply tapping the pads in the iPad app as I have the mpc recording. This records my scaler chords in directly in the mpc to be sequenced there

    • @thaexception3406

    • @Djgci2001
      @Djgci2001 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@iPadBeatMaking you're using scaler and recording the audio into your mpc. But can you use scaler and import the midi data so that you see the notes and chords from scaler on the mpc piano roll? I use scaler in Ableton and I can drag the chords from scaler into a midi track on Ableton and edit the chords further. Just want to know if it's possible. So far I figured out how to export midi data from scaler onto Korg Gadget to sketch song ideas and I can export to an Ableton live set from Korg Gadget. Trying to find a more intuitive way for sketching out ideas for Ableton. I know you can also export to Ableton live sets from the mpc as well.

    • @iPadBeatMaking
      @iPadBeatMaking  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t know what you mean because I’m using the midi in scaler NOT the audio. The midi pads from scaler are (wirelessly) triggering midi notes on the mpc which are being recording into the mpc which has a plugin I’m using to get the sounds. On the piano roll of the mpc you would see the chords to be able to edit them etc.

    • @Djgci2001
      @Djgci2001 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@iPadBeatMakingok, wasn't sure because you didn't show the notes in the piano roll on the mpc. But thank you for clarifying that, now I'm more interested in the mpc! Keep up the great content! 😊

    • @iPadBeatMaking

      Absolutely yes!!! U can use it as an auv3 or au midi fx with the auv3 of your choice!! Must buy imo

    • @MeerkatMuzic
      @MeerkatMuzic 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You need to do the 2 track trick and use Visual Swift Midi TX / RX or Midi Tools from Victor Porof as a go between to use Midi FX inside BM3 once that’s setup scaler 2 will work

    • @iPadBeatMaking
      @iPadBeatMaking  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Or u can key lock the pads in scaler (square to the right of the pads) to c2 and play BM3 internal piano to trigger them. U won’t get the midi editable chord data with this method but u will get the chords to play correctly
