Audio Evolution for me just runs a lot smoother and can handle bigger projects.

The best daw on the planet. I used almost all DAW from desktop to mobile and this daw is the overall best. I even switched from Fl studio to Fl studio mobile full time. I love this app ❤

Someone on a forum suggested this app for an iPhone option close to scaler 2. It looks good but lacks an arpeggio or strum creator. The app “progressions” seems to be the best option for iPhone for something similar to scaler 2

For people interested in Xequence 2 there's a much more elegant way to switch between Xequence and AUM without the need to involve Stage Manager at all. The key is to involve Audiobus in the setup in tandem with AUM and Xequence. Audiobus augments the functionality of Xequence to allow the iPad to switch its focus between Xequence/AUM/Audiobus and even non AUv3 apps like Samplr at the tap of a button. Ultimately everything is synced via Ableton Link. If you get the MIDI learn IAP with Audiobus you can even bind this switch function to a MIDI controller and completely avoid the need to show Audiobus' side bars. I discuss and demonstrate this throughout the content I create on my channel by the way. Having to buy Audiobus and its IAP just to do this is unpleasant, but it's still affordable and it changes everything, because as you said Atom causes some issues in the context of wanting to make more traditional arrangements.

I thought it was really interesting to see what kind of solution you came up with. Personally I chose to skip Atom entirely because it doesn't have manual automation write, just automation recording which is ridiculous considering the amount of efforts that were deployed by the dev to make this plugin. I have a solution for the issue you show at the end regarding closing multiple plugin instances at once: There's a function in AUM to simply Hide all opened plugin windows. It just costs you one button to dedicate to doing that. All that aside personally I'm not sure sacrificing these precious pads for showing/hiding plugins is the best approach. If you're interested throughout my videos I show another approach to take care of this using an iPhone based remote control instead.

You mention Koala drums come in hot. I find Koala on android seems to add some extra compression in song mode and maybe on export. How do tracks sound coming out of Audio Evo? Do they sound the same before and after exporting?

Where is the best places to download sounds and loops to use on Cubasis 3 ? Or is the stock sounds enough to make some fire beats already ? Aspiring producer trynna get a grip !

I like DAW wars. I bought Cubasis. As FL user I find midi and automation editing very primitive. There is a lot of stupidity in the way Cubasis was designed. It seams these people have never edited midi and automation before designing the software.But it has few good things going for it. I bought it for the one function on the chord pads. I like the noise suppressor and few other plugins.

*Have you worked with Bandpass?* I think Bandpass is the gold standard for mobile based sequencers. I'm a wizard with a lot of DAW's for PC but have a proclivity for the modular flow of Android because it eliminates distractions and since it's an advanced embedded system, the workflow is so much better. I started out on Caustic probably 8 or 9 years ago and always seem to get a lot more done on mobile DAW's. Some stuff is far easier done on PC, but overall mobile keeps you more focused. *I've been using PC based DAW's for now about 25 years!*

I have both Cubasis and Audio Evolution Mobile… maybe I’ll prove how important PDC is by creating a video.

FabFilter will NOT SYNC to other tracks in Cubasis, because Cubasis does not have PDC!

Worse audio interface ever

In Audio evolution I can take professional effects Tonebooster. In Cubasis I can't take these effects. There is no spectrum analyzer.

I can’t paired the Smk25 ii which I just removed from the box in the iPad Pro and iPad Air main setting (blue tooth) 1 hr ago. It just not showing up… I try everything, then after google it and pair it inside GarageBand midi kb Bluetooth setting.. voila it work and it does show up in the iPad main setting now. I was so scary that I got NG kb. Now I am charging KB trying to figure out if it work ok with full power or not because no sound after connecting to iPad Air with OTG lighting connectors, not sure it’s connector issue or else. Love your video although it’s not for v2 but still help a lot. Btw the user manual is so small.

bloomin heck, I had to watch this at least 10 times before I could get what you were doing... some steps too quick to see what you're doing, changing from one thing to another without saying what youre going to do and why - but putting that aside, THANK YOU! I made this work eventually and will keep that project as a template whenever I'm planning on creating something on my tablet with Scaler2. So this is a summary of what I think is shown here... There are two tracks that need setting up: 1/. Scaler track is External MIDI track. It has ScalerControl 2 as Midi FX. It has MIDI OUTPUT DEVICE set to StreamByter and Midi Output Channel set to 1 (or same number as input of Instrument track. (( Note that MIDI OUTPUT DEVICE (tap keyboard at top right of mixer channel) is not the same as the TRACK INPUT IN/OUT (double click track name at bottom of mixer channel).)) The IN/OUT track input is set to On-screen keys only. 2/. Instrument track is any instrument Midi IN/OUT is set to Streambyter for track input, 1 for Midi Channel (same as midi output channel above) That's it, I think, thanks again...

Hey man! So, I had all of my equipment stolen. I’m rebuilding my setup rn. I’m switching from a MacBook to the brand new iPad Pro with Logic Pro. Ideally? I’d like an interface that can handle two mono inputs (guitar and bass), then 2 stereo inputs (for a Prophet 5 and SP404mkII). I had an Apollo x6, but those aren’t iOS compatible, right? So I want something higher end, iOS compatible, and can have my guitar, bass, prophet 5, and SP404mkII all plugged in at once (having to switch cables while writing/recording seriously derails my workflow). Price point, I can afford $2500-3k TOPS. Any advice would be seriously appreciated. I make electronic psychedelic rock mixed with samples and beats. Minimal singing, but there is some. Thanks!
