Clive was and is still one of the most under-rated drummers in Rock. Together with Glenn Cornick on bass they made up a top-notch rhythm section. This line-up, with also John Evans on keys, and of course Martin Barre on his Les Paul, was easily the best band Ian Anderson had assembled for Jethro Tull, IMO.
@Revolution1117 I agree what a top line up. However for bass I do prefer John Glascock when he was with Tull for a short tenure before he passed away which was and is a tragic loss of talent. Glenn Cornick was fantastic but in my opinion not as technical. I'm more than happy listening to both periods of Tull.
Totally agree mate, I find myself watching it over and over and over again, just amazing music, everyone dialled in, one of the ABSOLUTELY BEST LIVE RECORDINGS OF DHARMA. CLIVE BUNKER, WELL ......
I was 8 when this was recorded. I missed some of the best music ever produced. Can't go back, and there are no new musicians that understand or are capable too produce this music.
My uncle Jason would be flipping out to see this. He was a drummer from the 70's and Bunker was one of his favorites. And he always saw him as the drummer for Jethro.
Saw them in Hull in 1969. I had just read 'Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit' playing ' This Was' and 'Stand up'. Brilliant so fresh and different then and now.
He was the greatest rock drummer IMO. I got Living in the Past as a Christmas gift back in 71. I have never heard anyone so fast on a snare drum as Clive on Dharma for One. I am now almost 70.
@sevenstarsofthedipper1047 He's # 1 in my book also . Ian Anderson really didn't deserve Clive & Glenn . Throw in Martin too ! They were all great 👍! After Aqualung I didn't like the direction Ian took them .
Would have been a nice touch at Woodstock and maybe even more exposure, but alas, wasn’t meant to be. Great lineup, unfortunately not long before the personal issues came to the fore. Glenn off to Wild Turkey and Clive getting married after thrashing on Aqualung. Great memories of a raw rocking bygone era.
@@SwingingCreeper I think what he meant by that is that Barriemore brought the technical aspect up like a keyboard player but left all this crudeness and vicerality of Clive Bunker behind, exactly what Ian Anderson wanted, someone to obey his genius leaving him as the only creative force in Jethro Tull alongside Martin L. Barre and Glenn Cornick who would left shortly after alongside Bunker
@@yhureveiaartistica Understood. Except Glenn was also pushed out, because he enjoyed the rocker lifestyle too much, partying, drugs, and all that. Ian didn't tolerate that.
I HATE this version of "Dharma". Horrible. Saw Tull as middle bill to Jeff Beck's debut at Fillmore East. LOVE the Tull debut record's Dharma'. Bunker was totally animal on both record and FE debut performance, although record version was so much better. One of the very best drummers of that time...
Clive Bunker the human machine gun. This bloke is something else.

Clive Bunker is a machine! And of course Ian Anderson, wild man genius!
Tull could rock- play this every day- do it!!! Thanks to Tull!!
Que joya!!
Clive Bunker... one of the greatest.... the man is a human Octopus.... put drum sticks between his toes & he'd still be able to play....
Absolutely this band is full of so much energy.
Wow!!! Just, Wow!!!
I can watch this over and over.
Has to be one of the best live recordings ever.

Phenomenal days.. loved this Band!!!✌️✌️✌️✌️😢
The performance of the group is SUPER.
Ol Clive friggin rockin those drums.
Definitely 1 of the best.

Birth Of Joy, Dewolff, White Hills, Navarone
No más limpiese los oídos que Jethro tull no escuchen lo profesional y que voz de Anderson y todo su super grupo 100 % profesionales los quiero ❤

I still love the Jethro. But drum solos are certainly a thing of the 20th century 🤗
When music was scary!!!
Between Tull and the Who at the Isle of Wight in 1970 I would have been blown away wish I was there
That's what I call a drum solo. And the Jam Band section between 3:21 an 5:29 is FIRE!
worthy f'n drum solo
Of course it is, it's bloody Clive Bunker afterall.
I haven't seen any better . He's in his 70's now and still kicks ass.
Glen Cornick, awesome.
Saw them in Hull in 1969. I had just read 'Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit' playing '
This Was' and 'Stand up'. Brilliant so fresh and different then and now.
Saw them in 69 too at the Fillmore West.
Tull in Hull😊! Pretty cool.
Since over 50 years i heard this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I don't know this song, when i'm thinking about jt.
Thank you! Clive Bunker on drums.

I called it quits on them after Thick as a Brick
Clive Bunker and Keith Moon > the most natural untrained drum wizards ever.
Classic rock chocolate ice cream and girls you can't loose I have learned a few things in my life 😂😂😂
Energia pura 🙌✌️🙌✌️✌️👍
Old hippie peace love and understanding ❤
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Clive é foda
imagine him on neal perts kit
Grew up to jt,new 2 me
Howlly shit!!!!😅 and the audience is just bewitched!
That's spooky.
I heard Clive left the band shortly after this time to get married and was replaced by Barrimore Barlow.
More pushed out
@@rockymountboyBarriemore Barlow was not a drummer he was a keyboard player.

La musica in queitempi
era rivolta ai politici e alla guerra del Vietnam
Enjoy because they don't make those bands anymore.
Ginger Baker ain't got shit on Clive
No drummer has as far as I'm concerned. Hearing Bonzo this, Bonzo that really gets old .
Dude totally agree!! I don’t see why ginger baker had such clout. Don’t get me wrong, I love cream and his drumming but it’s not ground breaking.
Fantásticos días de loquera y fumar y fumar el cigarro bacilador jajajaja.
Gibson les paul lässt grüssen.
Ginger who?
Clive Bunker hates looking at drums lol
He doesn't have to . He's that professional.
Das war noch Hand gemacht und ohne Schnörckel

They have some really great songs. This is not one of them. Should have named this one "Train Wreck". Good grief!
No wonder the rest of the band all fucked off.
