I thought it was Anakin's fault since he more or less got the Mortis Gods killed. Or was it Jacen's for blowing up Centerpoint Station? A little of both?
@@johnnygyro2295 both cause the sister and brother were supposed to kill her every few millennia so that she stayed asleep, and center point station was meant to help keep the maw intact so that she couldn’t escape it, with the ones dead and the station gone nothing could hold her in prison

Legends continuity really made the galaxy a big scary place. The Unknown Regions felt like the Bermuda Triangle except instead of it being a small piece of the globe it was like A THIRD OF THE WHOLE GALAXY. Also we had space ghosts called Star Weirds, which were terrifying as hell, and space dragons.
Agreed on all it really fleshed out the universe and made it vast grand and mysterious

Said Sith was Darth Krayt, aka the big bad from the Legacy comics if you're wondering. Plus, Luke did send some Jedi to try and find the Dagger of Mortis which, given that it killed the Ones/Abeloth's family, would be nice to have on the off chance she came back...

I think in total it was Luke and the 12 most powerful Sith and Jedi at the time just to contain her.

@@McDowell9 yes but different levels of power. Vader is actually weaker due to losing limbs, having a suit weak to any electricity, near non existent lungs, ect,
while Anakin could literally control the embodiments of the force.

To be fair, the "Legends" part of this video doesn't apply to those Legends fans who don't consider the Denningverse to be canon. In their case, I think the most powerful character might be Dark Empire Palpatine or Darth Nihilus. (or Valkorion, if they consider SWTOR to be canon)

I consider the denningverse Canon personally. Since I head Canon timelining multiverse. I consider all timelines even contradictory ones Canon through the rationale of it being a timeline even if its a different one. As a blank slate I see all of star wars material ever Canon. Always just a timeline.
I don’t really see how Denning’s stories can just be ignored by legends fans. Even if y’all don’t like them, they still completely happened in legends

I wish there was a way to combine both good aspects of each universe. I like EU a lot more but like with everything else, it wasn't perfect and it did have a few problems here and there, but many stories were solid. Canon Star Wars, while having quite a few problems, particularly the sequel trilogy, because that had no direction, and even the people who worked on it admitted that, still has some good stories in video games, comics ect.

Yeah it’s sad I would’ve loved to see what happened after grandmaster Luke’s new Jedi order, with Jedi master Jaina solo and Ben Skywalker leading the NJO. Would’ve been great to have a conclusion to the Abeloth story also, just a shame under current management of Star Wars well likely never get those

Yeah, even if Rey could face Abeloth, she wouldn’t stand a chance. I don’t hate Rey, but I was expecting her as a granddaughter of Obi-Wan and a love interest of Luke’s son, if Mara Jade is canon.
Obi wan directly having a granddaughter doesn't make much sense as he even after the fall was still a devout believer of the jedi code
@@Z-_-Z-_-Z-_-Z-_-Z You clearly didn't watch The Clone Wars where Obi-Wan has a love interest, even though she was killed off. Jedi not falling in love is not part of the Jedi Code, it's only a warning that a Jedi needs to control his/her emotions before gaining a relationship, and love is a strong emotion. You can fall in love with someone and have children as long as you control your emotions.
@@prehistorichero2755 i did watch the clone wars and you shouldn't forget, obi wan was part of the teachings of the corrupted council where any love intrest is considered a taboo. But yeah you're probably right as obi wan unlike anakin pretty much controlled his emotions and this quote makes it more obvious
