Hey thanks for the review! You mentioned that you got 3 commutes done on a single charge how much would you say that is in miles/km? wanted to know if it’s accurate enough for the range they have mentioned on the battery. I was looking to purchase the exact same battery size for my bicycle as i think its the best value out of three and i want to start working for uber eats so i want something that stays up for 4/5 hours on a single charge . Thoughts?
Hi, has anyone registered their new Switch Go+? I am asked what the Power Pack serial number is, and told that it's on the reverse side of the Power Pack, but I cannot see anything there. Any help much appreciated.
I added mine and love it, the cable ties seemed a bit over done but that disappeared after the first few rides. I get about 30 miles on a full charge averaging 14-15 mph
first of all it doesn't fit every bike and you had better make sure it fits yours because if it dissent they will not refund your money. its over priced, you have to wait almost a year to get it and then if there is a problem, TOO DAMN BAD
They forgot to adjust the assistance speed limit to 32 Km/h, even though I had reminded them that I lived in Canada and he had told me that he would do so. Plus they were missing a part to attach the sensor to the crankset....
Thanks for this review. I think I live in the same hilly city as you and was wondering if it would get you up Prior Park easily or if I should go for the Go++ (worth the extra £70?). The website says the batteries all have the same torque, yet the wattage is different. Should I go for the biggest watts living in Bath? Thank you!
I have a Step through, and not for my Bicycle. I was thinking of the Max, but If I was serious I would have opted for a Ebike the cost would be less for me and safer.
The biggest issue with this review, is that YOU HAVE THE KIT. Do a review where you pay and wait a year before getting the correct delivery without missing pieces! What is the torque on the motor?
25kph speed limit on a road bike is pretty pointless, especially considering that, like you said it doesn't provide power untill you drop down to 20kph.
@@EvilijoUK I would prefer the limit to be higher, for example to keep up with urban traffic often limited to 20mph. However the legal framework here means that if an ebike exceeds the current limit, then its classification changes and you need a license and insurance and registration number.
@@PinkLittleElephant I suppose it all depends where you live. Here in Northern Ireland Police are mostly decent and won't harass you over e-bike riding. Both myself and my wife got e-bikes unlocked to 35kph and they are fantastic. So much safer in traffic, cars don't tailgate you and it's a much nicer stress free experience.
@@EvilijoUK there are a lot of hacks available to increase max speed on a variety of ebikes ( possible because other markets like the US have different laws,), but ebike suppliers have to ship to conform with whatever law applies. Same reason why European ebykes only come with 250W motors unfortunately.

In the U.K. they are very common. I’ve seen several of the older kits and 2 in my office and I live in small town in middle of nowhere! Not seen a Go yet though
Once the battery loses its capability to charge, what's the guarantee that it will still be in production? I assume there's no way to replace the cells yourself.
Swytch seem to mostly just supply replacement batteries for the current versions they sell. However, if you have an older system, Swytch offer upgrade versions which includes battery, cables and comtroller, but you use your existing motor wheel.
When I hear or see no disclaimer of any kind in a video, not even in its the description, it is implicitly stated that the reviewer has purchased the product at retail price and has not been given any compensation of any kind. @erictoft3878 I've checked and adjusted that. The light flashes strongly when adjusted properly indicating its getting a good signal but the motor does not operate anymore. I had to return it. I'm a car mechanic and a bike should be child's play but it's a dodo
