Dreamcatcher has 7 members, however one of the members wasn't present in the video because she was not in South Korea for a while but in China. The members are JiU (leader), SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami and Gahyeon. Some of these names are stage names.
A little note on how to pronounce some names: the Si in Siyeon is said as Shi. For names with 'eo' this represents one hangul or Korean alphabet character and is pronounced as a short oh sound instead of two syllables.
I know this is short so hopefully an Insomnia (member of Dreamcatcher's fandom) can give you more details on them.

The story is about cyber bully and the tree is important through out the series because is representing of social media and social platform. The first part is Scream you now watching and the next one is BOCA and the final is Odd Eye.

Kpop is just insane. The amount of talented perfect amazing kpop groups that exists out there is mind blowing
Late, but agreed. Kpop is simply incredible and there's just so much amazing music and talent in each group and so many different genres, styles and variety as well!
It's such as shame that there are still tons of people that hate Kpop and look down all of the artists, their music and their fans with prejudice without even having given a single group a fair chance and instead of immediately jumping onto the hate bandwagon because it's a trend and a normalised thing to do nowadays.
Dreamcatcher is my absolute favorite K-pop group, i noticed that not a lot of people had writen about their discography so i'll give you the titletracks.
Dreamcatcher debuted on Jan 13 (friday) 2017 with their song "Chase Me" and the start of their Nightmare Series.
Next comes "Good Night" and then "Fly High" followed up with "You and I".
Then comes the track "What" and the Nightmare Series ends with "Piri" (Not counting their Japanese Releases)
They followed the Nightmare Series up with a single that was made in collaboration with the mobile game King's Raid called "Deja Vu" and it is truely a masterpiece.
Then comes their Dystopia Series that you now have started with "Scream" followed up with "Boca" and ended with "Odd Eye"
The Dystopia Series is a Series of songs that are mainly based around Cyber Bullying and Hate.
As for the members, they are 7 members "Jiu", "Sua", "Siyeon", "Handong", "Yoohyeon", "Dami" and "Gahyeon". Handong is unfortunately not with the group for "Scream" and "Boca" since she was in China for a Talent Survival Show and got stuck in China when the pandemic hit. (She is represented in the Scream MV by a Dancer wearing a mask.)

South Korea has the best cinematographers in the world and their stylists are also known around the world for their skill. This is one of the reasons Korean dramas have become so popular, because the quality of the production is so much higher than anything coming out of the West. As a result, Netflix has partnered with Korean studios to produce Kdramas for international audiences.

Welcome to the Dreamworld! Dreamcatcher are very unique. They are the dark angels of Kpop and the only girl group who incorporate Rock and Metal in their music, fusing that with Kpop into something that basically is a new genre. They also are drenched in horror and social criticism, which again is special. Plus, they are massively talented, all of them. And while the girls look like they could rip your spine out when they are on stage, off stage they are adorable crackheads. 😉
Scream is part 1 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. It is mostly showing the victim's perspective of (cyber)bullying, comparing it to a medieval witch hunt. The tree is the tree of language, and it grows black fruit for every hurtful thing people say. Note also the hand gesture, it is the devil's horns introduced by Ronnie James Dio as a symbol for metal, but it originally was a gesture in the middle ages to ward off the evil eye, tying into the witch hunt theme.
You should (of course!) also react to part 2 and 3 of the trilogy, which are Boca and Odd Eye. And I also recommend the masterpiece Deja Vu. You'll be very much entertained!

Most of their title songs are in a story arc: Scream, Boca and Odd Eye belong to the just-finished "Dystopia cycle"; Chase Me (debut), Good Night, Fly High, You And I, What and Piri (and, alternately, Breaking Out) constitute their first arc, "Nightmare cycle". The rest are independent, or made for a game; if you want to break out of a cycle some time, I suggest Deja Vu for one of the prettiest MV, or Endless Night for one of the hardest-hitting. The title songs always incorporate a signature sound of rock, metal or EDM that is not done by most other Kpop groups. B-sides though go over a variety of genres, and are all so very good. Not a single skip on their many albums.

FYI they're not from a big company but thanks to the CEO and staff they're able to make the top quality mv and kudos to their producers giving them a masterpiece after masterpiece. Dreamcatcher is an unique 7 member girl group which debuted in 2017. I say unique because it's an idol group with rock/metal infused sounds for *ALL* their title tracks which are mostly story based with dark concept.
There are various genres mixed in the songs, but they fused rock elements into them. It's their signature sound, while their B-sides are truly a huge variety of genres and experimental creativity. Well, they are 7 members girl group, they debuted in 2017. In my opinion, their way of blending genres is something special and people should not sleep on it.

My gosh, YES!!!! I’m so happy you did this! My journey into kpop started with Blackpink (ofc I knew of BTS, but I’m more into girl groups with a lot of sass, attitude and swag) and I fell in love immediately. Then I stumbled upon Dreamcatcher, and they have become my favourites. Everything about them is just fantastic. They are so talented, and they are also such loveable dorks 😹
They have some self made comedic-ish mv’s That’s worth watching as well as their official ones. They show a lot of personality and playfulness in those. Probably worth it to wait with those until you’ve watched a few documentaries about the group and the members. When you get to it, one of those mv’s is Dreamcatcher Special Clip Break the Wall.
Enjoy getting to know Dreamcatcher. They are truly worth it!
NB: As you might go chronologically with this group also, note that Fly High is the first in the Nightmare storyline, even though it wasn’t the first to be released. You might understand the story better if you start with that, then go on to Chase Me 🥰

Korean artists works magic with fashion, color, sets, animation, etc. This is where we are blessed to be able to see their exploration & progression into this craft. As you go from k-pop generation to generation, you'll be able to see that timeline. It's amazing.
Dreamcatcher is about the only game in that entire KPOP GIRL GROUPS' town that ROCKS, BAR NONE. They've already won over some rock/metal reacters over EASY and have the largest rockers/metalheads subset in their fandom. That's their edge and key differentiator. And their sound isn't just "bait". Authentic consistency just like any rock/metal bands you've ever heard of, NEVER deviated from that since debut 2017 for title tracks. They're Japan-exclusive rels are almost all jrock/metal driven. While for B-sides, remember that they're still a k"pop" unit, they're easily as strong (if not stronger) across multi genres. You won't find a lot of other kpop groups who puts out "freebie" special clips for B-sides like Deukae. Also paired with some of the hardest choreos in the business to match their songs' BPMs, they'd easily give some of the top kpop boy bands of today a real challenge in that regard any day of the week.

Egoist was an old song with a catchy dance beat by German EBM/Industrial group Steril (I was a rivethead in the 90s), but what you were mentioning is...
MAMAMOO's song is called Egotistic. Great song but they got too attached to using the Spanish guitar song for numerous releases including Maria and I personally got tired of that sound. I recommend Yes I Am, You're the Best, Decalcomanie. Great group though and their label sisters PURPLE KISS will probably be the most talented 4th gen girl group.
Lion and Oh My God are the best songs of (G) I-DLE, someone find out who's responsible for the awkward spelling of their group name which is a pain to type (someone must be pulling a practical joke on the fans like whoever named Eg's previous numerically titled album.). Latata and Hann probably next best title tracks.

Yeah Scream is one of my favorite group's in Kpop, j/k obviously DREAMCATCHER is the name of the group. This is probably the 2nd group after BP that I'd recommend to Americans new to Kpop.

The members in real-life are hilarious girls they are geeky,loud,weird and dorky. They are currently putting out their reality shows on their channel its really entertaining cause they're so funny naturally they don't really care about strict pop-star idol image, they just go and about whatever they want especially on their live streams they are hilarious and super talented their dance skills and vocals are not to be mess with(their main rapper just belted a high note in their drama ost song) If you keep watching them you will definitely love them more and more

My first listen to Kpop was in 2011 and I have been hooked ever since. Kpop idols are like professional athletes in the West. They are all highly trained by their companies to sing, dance, rap and act. When a Kpop group debuts, they are already professional in virtually every aspect. They are not allowed to debut if they can not perform at the highest level. These idols train for many years...some even for more than 10 years. The entertainment companies in Korea invest millions of dollars into getting these kids to debut. So yes.....every Kpop group can dance.....if you can't dance, you can't be a Kpop idol.

And I agree about the videos...its feels like they are always aesetically pleasing and/or extravagant. That red scene totally caught you off guard haha. I feel like they performed the dance routine twice, one dark, one light and then just overlayed then rather than getting them to hold still for light change...if they rehearsed it often enough which I imagine they did then it would look pretty smooth and a bit less tedious to do and edit.
Haven't heard this before but I really liked the beat they did with it...very 'house' like. Could totally enjoy that at a club...if I ever went to clubs lol

Nice. It's a trilogy. Checkout the continuations, Boca (mouth in Spanish) and Odd Eye. It's all social comment about hate online and in today's word. They also have horror and fantasy themes in a lot of other great work. Their creative people, especially the songwriters, are killer. And they fuse pop, rock, metal, hip hop, R&B, EDM, punk,... Scream is the 1st part of dystopia trilogy. This trilogy talks about social media haters & how their words affect other people. & These girls are looking for a utopia a place without any haters basically a perfect place. Now u NEED to chack out the 2nd & 3rd part of the series. The 2nd part is BOCA & the 3rd part is odd eye. Also there's a nightmare series which is like a horror movie honestly. There are 7 members in dreamcatcher.
