You can try although they may have changed the fitting stats of the Vexor since I made this video. I know they changed the VNI. But definitely use it as a template and find something that works for you =)
Damn they really hammered down in the bandwidth of the VNI when they nerfed it. I am flying a very basic fit in HS atm and it only has 75 bandwidth so it can only deploy 3 heavy or sentry drones atm.
To start with, the VNI has been nerfed since this video was made and is not the be-all ratting ship it once was. And to your question, the gas haven has nothing in it initially to orbit so you'd have to get your drones out and kill a ship before you could start orbiting to get your transversal up. That and there are just a bunch more ships in each wave if I'm remembering correctly.
@@VinsisGaming Not sure having nothing to orbit would be a valid reson for not running them. Even if ppl are not using an MTU u could just aswell jettison something crappy from your cargo and start to orbit the container instead.
Nice video as always clear and concise, however i have tried your fit and the VNI only as enough bandwidth to use 3 berserker 2 drones in your vid you are using 5! As there been a change to the VNI? If so is it still a viable ratter with 3?
It does look like they've "balanced" the VNI a bit since then. I don't want to give you bad information, so I won't try to tell you whether it's viable or not. I haven't tried it yet and haven't been playing Eve much lately. But if you experiment around and have a thought, let us/me know =)
Awesome video! Just getting back into eve after many many years (10+/-) Wanted a good rat build and looks like I’ve found it. So I purchased all the stuff for this build including the ship and am in the process of training up the skills required for the fittings. I went ahead and fitted everything as I won’t be using it till the skills are done anyway. I noticed once I fitted everything the cap says it depletes in 1:59. That can’t be right considering this was an afk build. What did I do wrong lol any help would be appreciated :) Edit: I may have overlooked the fact that I CAN currently use the afterburner and nothing else lol I assume once I can use the rest of the stuff it will stable out?
Some of that may be related to your skills. There are skills associated with how much capacitor your Afterburner uses per cycle. I suspect that may be one of the primary culprits on your Capacitor problem.

@@michaelstewart5054 Y'know, Mastery rating has no bearing on anything. It's just a way of showing what skills might apply to what the ship is used for ... and that's about it. It's just a medal system of sorts for your skills (if that makes any sense)

@@VinsisGaming Okay, I spent the weekend running Tier 1 and Tier 2 abyssal sites. With a passive regen Gila you can run them all of them with your eyes closed. The rewards weren't great in general but a few times I got some ammo blueprints and a couple of skillbooks. I am not sure if I am ready to move to Tier 3 sites.
I set up a fit for myself based on a passive fit as well. Just need to get the gear out to where I'm at in Null and give it a go. Thanks for checking back in =)
Yeah, they can be tricky ... they've changed the VNI since this video was made so the fit won't work anymore. But you really do need to pay attention to your drones.

Why is a gas haven more difficult with a VNI?
To start with, the VNI has been nerfed since this video was made and is not the be-all ratting ship it once was.
