Thanks Miftah! xD I started the videos to get new players more comfortable and adventurous in the game, and give them the knowledge to survive and get rich so I am very glad you find them suitable to share :)
Just shows what you can do if you keep your cool and use your ship's strengths to your advantage - even a cheap ship can be very effective in the hands of a capable pilot. Good job on the Astero kill. Fly safe o7
@@daddex9222 No problem - thanks for going to the trouble of making it. Binging on you and Disowned Hero's vids at the moment. Picked up a couple of things I didn't know and they're in a really good style - not too long, not too short. My main is Kirreniem Nakrar - if you're ever down in Amarr, feel free to say hello :)
That Astero fight was exciting. I hadn't planned to be binging all of your videos, but here we are... I'm just getting back into the game after about 8 years away and your vids have been really helping me to get back up to speed. My favorite part is how well you seem to keep your cool all the time. I am a nervous wreak when the possibility of PVP comes about. Trying to get a handle on it but afterwards the rush is what keeps me coming back. Good luck out there!
@@terrificlife1576 sorry I didn't see the question.. the 80 mil is simply the value of the kill mail, the 'pvp score'.. you can loot wrecks for the modules that have survived but in this situation I just had to go.
Good information and useful for a new player. New players by definition don’t know a lot and for us, multitasking is difficult. When learning, it’s helpful to just stick to one task at a time. For example, this vid starts with the Atron going low sec, then changes to discussing how to modify the overview, then jumps back to combat. New players might have difficulty with this. I respectfully suggest that you present one topic at a time for new players. Experienced players will have less problems with multitasking. You included the Catalyst fitting. Please add the Atron fit as well. Thanks! o7
Thanks for the feedback, this was one of the first Eve videos I made and learning when to talk about what is the hardest part, especially when you are aiming at players that want to learn, I think I am have got ( a bit) better, but i could randomly talk about any random module for a couple of minutes if I let my guard down! :) Fly Brave o7
@@daddex9222 Merry Christmas to you as well :) I've been cruising around exploring in the free Minmatar Corvettes to get my feet wet and not risk the few decent ships I have. Thanks for the videos.
Thanks for this video! New player and struggling hard with finding ship and weapon progressions or whatever the equivalent is in this game. Just had my first success ratting that felt right, and paid for the ship on 2nd kill :D
4:25 My favorite part of the video. Those fatty lip smacks you threw in there, you don't get that from your everyday run of the mill TH-camr. 10/10 VERY artisanal
Holy sh1t man! The astero kill was awesome - I mean seriously - killing him with a cheapo destroyer LMAO - thats gotta sting... I lost a few Asteros and learned to treat them with respect - nice ship for sure.

The yt just recomended me this vídeo. Your channel is amazing. I have been thinking about trying The game as an alpha.... Are those fits still viable? I will Def watch more of your guides. Thank you for this amazing work
Yes velators can be made quite nasty with skills and good modules. I took a Baron down in a 60 dps Merlin, took a while though.. one of our guys runs a 1bil velator in pvp. send me you fit in game if you like and I will try it out!
Not everything is available everywhere as this needs a player to bring it to sell. Main trade hubs like Dodixie, Amarr, Jita and even Hek should normally have them.
For some reason having trouble using all the turrets after fitting the Small Hybrid Burst Aerator I, the power usage is slightly to high to have all turrets active, and my dps is only about 200, even thought I have all the same fittings. Not sure what I have done wrong :S
Yes it does. With Tech 1 Blasters the rats in o.3/4 are no problem. Best to get tech 2 guns before you go after the clones in 0.2/1 as they are a bit tougher. Do remember to check that damage types and resists are right for the local rats, though not really an issue with the Cat'.
Yes, very much. It will show you the basics, give you some ships and stuff and you should end up with about 7-8mil ISK :) Some may seem dull, but they are showing you aspects of the game and basic principles behind them.
Why do you use such a low resolution? You can't fit anything on your screen. At the very least your could decrease the interface size so you can see everything at the same time instead of having to constantly move windows.
Yeah sure, go low-sec if you really want to get blown up within minutes by some pathetic griefer living there for just this very thing. Way to keep new players!
Mate I starting making this videos to show just how incorrect and self defeating that attitude is. I show how to avoid that, learn the game, have fun and get rich, did you watch it at all? I made over a bill with the ratting dessies and lost maybe 5 hulls. I can only assume you have never been to low sec or did so once in such a clumsy way it all went wrong, maybe in a silly expensive ship you didn't even need to be in. It is that attitude that keeps players from exploring the game getting good and getting rich and in a barge going round a rock.. I have many, many messages thanking me for showing this and how it has changed peoples perception of the game, got them back into or or kept them in it, maybe try it yourself.. surely you have 3 mil to risk on it?! xD
@@daddex9222 take no notice he must be on his period...your vids are whats kept me playing eve mate as an alpha and show that you can start out from humble beginnings...negative dicks like this is what the game dont need
I like how patient and calm you are when someone is hunting you. You know how and when to fight. This was a great lesson for me. Thanks for sharing.
And here we go again, 4 years later, i wanted to watch it again :D
I like your way to make these guides, its so inspiring and relaxing

Welcome back! I guess it gets less hectic as you get used to it. Eventually you will go into fights with confidence, it is a great point to reach.

Short range with coercer have (alpha) T2 450dps cap not stable
I will give the Coercer a vid soon, it deserves one. Since the cap is almost the ammo it needs playing a little differently with low skills.
