The rigging and the motorisation. Wow Mike, just fantastic 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Passed through Stranraer many times coming from Northern Ireland, I wasn’t aware there was an RAF aircraft named for the town. Ian
@@bugler75 Thanks Ian 👍 Never been there myself.... There is a Stranraer in the RAF MUSEUM LONDON. collections.rafmuseum.org.uk/collection/object/object-1422/
Thanks for that, a great job. I built one when I was a kid, which was fondly remembered as I'm originally from Stranraer and they were stationed at the port in 1940 before being replaced by Sunderlands. I wonder if you can do a motorised Gloster Meteor (based on an existing kit). What I mean is... a Gloster Meteor MkI was a testbed for the first turbo-prop engines and the conversion was called the Trent Meteor named after the Rolls-Royce engines installed, just an idea as I've never seen a Trent Meteor model.
@@dcanmore Thanks ! 👍 I know the Trent Meteor you speak of...It's a very rare model nowadays. I think it could be motorised yes. It will probably be a heck of a lot easier than this Stranrear 🤣🤣
@@307vrr Im hoping Airfix will start selling them again. I dont have the tech skills for those that are available now. cant even get my N Gauge trainset running.. LOL
All these old kit box artworks bring back so many memories
