- I fancied some USA gameplay today! The M4A2 and M36 have been on my list of recommendations for a while now so I've got them in my line-up and jumped into some Ground RB battles at BR 5.3. I didn't realise my M36 was still stock though so I had to deal with solid shot for the first game...turns out solid shot is pretty deadly though! Enjoy!

one easy way to know if you are in a down tier or in an up tier is checking the spawn points at the start of the match. example a medium tank spawn points cost for a down tier is 150 and in an up tier is 100 ( the point cost values also change depending if it is a heavy, AA etc...)
yeah that's how i do it. a heavy is +10 points from a medium and td's are -10.
Yep. Far more accurate than just looking if there are anyone higher or lower tier tanks
Jumbo is the best CBT (Cannon Barrel Torture) tank in the game. When you get the hang of it, it's pretty fun.
The American 76mm is a beautiful gun, it just does everything you need out of a medium caliber main gun and it's mounted on some great chassis. Just smooth sailing of a video!
its not that solid shot is bad, its that aphe is way too good and cannot be organically nerfed

@@jesserodriguez4370 pretty sure they gonna fix it by the end of this summer, i hope? It Will make the game a bit more annoying since Its the only realible shell type in the game.

It does exactly what it supposed to do, the explosive filler the bursting charge was to aid the number of fragments produced by the shell after armour penetration, the energy of the fragments coming from the speed of the shell after being fired from a high velocity anti-tank gun, as opposed to its bursting charge. Which is what it does in this game
@@dannyjayke8695Except that the US and UK tested it after WW2 and found the effect to be minimal. Most of the energy was spent on breaking through the thick AP wall. And on top of that if the armor is too thick the explosive cavity would squash before detonation thus failing to explode properly.
It doesn’t work against armor too thick or too thin and only provide marginal benefits when the armor thickness is just right, which is why the US and UK stopped using them in the first place
When you paused for the airplane bombing you, it looks like your .50 cal was pointing right at him. The advantage of playing USA line is that most tanks are AA capable as well. Your AA machine gun slews faster than your turret. Good videos, sir. Cheers!

5:34 Jumbo is very reliant on knowledge of enemy weakspots. Once you learn most of them, it becomes a lot more effective, as it turns out, you can effectively disable your enemies even frontally by immobilising and destroying their barrels, and with its mobility you can get around them to get the sideshot. However, I do agree with this when you face 6.7 uptiers (more often than not you'll be forced into them due to sheer amount of people playing 6.7), it becomes more of a support tank, where you have to rely on game knowledge even more, and use it as a sort of a fat medium tank that can bounce something. It's best advised to spawn it in mid/late game, where you usually face less top tier stuff (due to them dying earlier), where your armor and gun becomes more useful.
if the solid shot is pretty potent for you, you'll love the m82. the US 90 is quickly becoming one of my favorite cannons in the game.
like on the t25.. everything about that thing is mediocre but the gun saves it. it just has that extra oomph that makes you a brilliant tiger and panther hunter imo. if it got its stabilizer back and accelerated a bit faster, it'd be an apex predator for sure

The american T34 has a 120mm ap shell its funny
Bring the jumbo so if its a downtier (for 75 jumbo a downtier to 4.7 is 160sp to spawn)

You can determine battle rating by how many spawn points your highest br tank costs there is a chart you can look up
The M36B2 has even better solid shot as it has a ballistic cap on it
You can see the br by the spawncost for example 5.7 medium in 6.7 would cost 100sp in 5.7 120sp and in 4.7 150sp heavy tanks have 10more sp cost lights are same as mediums and i dont remember for TDs and SPAAs im gonna now have to use toilet paper so bye

With the jumbo you need to go for cupolas(the things on top of the tigers,is1,t34-85 turret) with m61 you will crit or one hit kill them

Just a heads up for 6.7 germany for when you get there. If you go straight to the king tiger p then it's pretty difficult (from my experience) so id reccommend getting both free king tigers before moving up
100sp full up tier 130 is slight down/slight up tier and 150 is a full down tier for medium tanks 160sp for heavy tanks
Unfortunately, regular solid shells and even APDS do not work well in British tanks. When it comes to the Jackson M36, I have a similar opinion - this bullet is not bad at the beginning, but it is probably due to the large caliber of the gun.
US 76mm is a lot of fun BUT don'[t think it should be at the BRs that it can be like the Jumbo 76 which is pain to play. think the M4A1 76 should be 4.7 (so fun when it was) and the others should be lowered as well. but saying that. if it's going to be at the br. it's APCR needs a pen buff to how it used to be dealing with KTH's and whatnot. that is something i would ask gaijin to do.
The solid shot isn't as bad because of the bigger caliber. Bigger round = more shrapnel from the armor you pen = more stuff flying around the tank to kill crew and components
I wish that was true. The solid shot of american T34 is abysmal for what caliber that is. Although I don't deny that some guns have well performing solid shot ammo.

M36 is a tank destroyer so it’s has a good gun and mobility it’s really a good tank

Check rp cost of ypur vehicles to tell the br 150 is fulldowntier 130 is .7 downtier 110 is .7 downtier and 100 is full uptier
Idk man that shot is pretty bad, ive hit hit ammo crew and other critical spots, the engine the drive train the turret rotisserie and its just yellowed, ,ive had to put 5 rounds into some tigers from the side just to fully kill the damn thing, these rounds are doo doo unless youve got really good barrel and pen
M36 its just a hellcat but better. Yep its slower, but APHE shell with 185mm pen is a cheif kiss
Btw. Every vehicle at 6.7(except M26) really interesting and OP
