The US tank tech tree doesn't have a ton of small and ratty autocannon vehicles, but that changes with the addition of the XM800T recon vehicle. It's basically just a scaled down Bradley without the ATGMs, but it's also the only fun thing Gaijin added with this update.

Spookston grew horns for half a second as he got too evil, but thankfully normal spook is back

I remember when you tryed to place a vehicle in a crew slot from the techtree, it would default to the best suiteable free crew (based on ace/expert, level, being trained or not, etc.)
Then they added the option to choose back-ups straight from your inventory and this whole auto crew selecting was just gone.
But what baffeled me the most, when i asked about it on the Forums, nobody seemed to remember it.😐

Nah, that was a fuel explosion, one of the best things Gaijin has added in recent history. They've made the 47mm Vickers Tempest one of my favorite planes. It's an absolute menace if you have good aim, since hitting a fuel tank is a guaranteed kill.

Yea, the not being able to control your vehicle while looking at the score board was very dense idea by Gajin.
It must be a bug because i have full control in the scoreboard
I'm sure the option will be available for GE next patch.

that is not available on consoles ,you can't steer while having the score board up in console from the beginning ,maybe that's the root of the bug?

Attempt number 45 at getting Spookston to play any tank with a dozer blade, the catch is that he has to dig in before engaging targets. Movement around the map is allowed, but he has to dig in again before reengaging.

The TD variant of this would actually be an awesome sidegrade or event vehicle. Imagine driving at mach speed and then just slapping people with ATGMs

@@IonPerseus The wiesel has german teammates AND it's a top tier vehicle for the tree. Meaning you have to deal with them through the entire tree and when playing the vehicle.
With this not only are you free of that, you also wouldn't fight basically anything with an APS or composite
Gaijin should make the Kill Assist message orange or something, I always think I actually killed someone I was firing at the moment. Luckily I haven't died to that but still.

This was the first vehicle I got a nuke in... and i've played the 279 for around 150 games, while in the XM800T I only played 20 games...

One of my favorite things about this thing is that it also has variable fire rate so if you're trying to save up on some ammo or space out your shots

Although it might not do great against tanks, the U-SH 204 GK is a fun speedy SPAA that will disintegrate low br CAS, you should try it.

Attempt 36 Challenge: For high tier support a nations MBT with its respective APC/IFV counterpart (ie Abrams/Bradley, T90/BMP2M, etc.) Challenge is keeping the other player alive and supporting it without stealing kills (breaking barrels, tracking, repairing, etc) it being a random should help make it interesting.

The turret for the DF105 is armoured so heavily (relatively) is because its actually a french amx 13 fl(15?) turret on a marder chassis
