Do you leave those stock tanks set up over winter? Do they freeze solid or can turtle be brumated in them? What part of the country are you in weather wise? Thanks.
Jason Flanders Yes they stay setup all year long, they do not freeze solid and yes you can brumate turtles in them as they already went through one winter in them. I do use a pond deicer during winter though. I am in Pennsylvania, last year with wind chill. -30F degrees was the coldest it got at night.

So you run a pond de icer in it, do you insulate the sides or put a deep substrate in for them?
