I am amazed by how many features DJI packed into this Mini 2! I sent the drone back to DJI for a check up, but I'm looking forward to more flights with it soon. 👍

Great demo of all the quickshots modes and pano photos on the Mini 2. The extra quickshot mode and pano photos were a welcome upgrade over the Mini 1. Nice flight and beautiful scenery.
Learned something new by watching your quickshots Marcus. My drone arrived Thursday afternoon and I went out to fly it yesterday. Very stable platform that's for sure. I did have some issues with the quick shots, but I think that I was too far away because I couldn't draw a box around me.
Wow the dronie over the canyon, now that's some thing else. I am a bit put off the mini 2, I gather it do's not like flying over water or things that reflect. It starts to loose height, yours is not the only one that that has happened to. And now you do not seem to mind that it do's not land on the mat any more, and have a crash as well. Pilot error, no CRASH. I pull your leg, please keep flying!!

Another Brilliant video marcus soooooooo jealous of your location dont have views like that in England.i remember after Christmas last year watching your mini 1 vids and id never been interested in drones but for some reason utube showed me drone vid and been hooked got the mini 1 in march didn't get to fly as much as id like as work long hours and time with kids ended up selling mini1 as herd this was coming but wasted the cash .so want the mini 2 ive watched every vid going in utube so it was nice to see ya post another mini 2 vid. Ill have one soon 👍
The sphere thing needs an external program or something. If you download the pic off your phone, it will do the "street view" style global panorama. I've been trying to find a way to get the full data version of the pic but have been stymied. On the data cards it comes in the 26 shots.
If you want to create a 3D from the sphere pano. You can open it in photoshop. Click on 3D > Sphereical Panaorama > New Panormama Layer from Selected Layers. Line up your horizon and Click 3D > Export panorama. If your looking for the tiny planet look. I use an app on ios called Artleap by Lighttricks they have Tiny Planet setting. Planetical is an app for both iOS and Android. I also use Theta+ sometimes

I did one today and I can explore it in the app but I can't export it to upload for example to Google Street View. On the SD Card there are also only the individual pictures. How did you do it? Thank you. The app will export the the stitched sphere to your mobile device. It does not make it into the tiny plant form I suspect you are looking for. You would need to do that in post production.

But when I look there it simple isn't there
The app automatically uploads the stitched panos to the camera roll on your mobile device. In the video, I show each one (pano) right after the drone finished taking pictures. Thank you!

Oh my word that view from the helix when looking over that Canyon was fantastic, what a Beautiful spot you have picked. I’ve watch you many times there but hell that was special. I have the original Mini, is it worth upgrading?
What about the issues you encountered mainly in the first flight and a bit in the second,, that looked awful, worrying and very bizarre. Do you think it’s a hardware, software issue or just a very windy part of the canyon? Sorry so many questions and thanks for replying
Marcus, I just picked this mini up at the Boise Bestbuy. I don’t plan on flying much in Ada County, but it appears that even for this drone it requires registration.. Is that true?? Any information is greatly appreciated. TIA Btw, I really appreciate the videos!
Thank you. The Mini does not require registration, however you are still required to abide by all other drone rules. Check out the FAA's drone zone on the web. 👍
You should become a spokesman for DJI... and I wouldn't argue. Really like the new boomerang option! And those panoramic features are really spectacular! My wife is going to be mad at you, Marcus... because I'm blaming you for wanting a Mini 2 so much. Especially after only having the Mini 1 for a month 😉
Marcus, I am definitely looking at the Mini 2 as my first real drone. A question though. With my old 65 year old eyes, what iPhone do you recommend? I just have a little iPhone 6 and am looking to upgrade. I bet I would really enjoy flying this little drone! Take care sir!
One of the best things you can do for good drone performance is to get a powerful mobile device to run the app. I use the iPhone 11 Pro Max to get that big display. You will really love the Mini 2!

Hi Marcus, I set my Mavic Air 2 to the setting you used and find them working great. I also set my Mini 2 settings to the same values and the Mini 2 also works great with them. Did you set your Mini 2 setting to the same settings you used for your Mavic Air 2 drone?

Hi Robert. I am fortunate to have a lot of class G airspace to fly in, and have not had to unlock the Mini 2. I guess what I'm saying is that I cannot say if there is a problem or not.
