- The Queen Consort, Camilla, has opted not to wear the crown that contains the controversial Koh-i-Noor diamond for the King's Coronation.
Royal experts say the decision has been taken to avoid a diplomatic row, as the UK has been in possession of the diamond since the East India Company seized it in 1849.
As India says the diamond "brings back painful memories of the colonial past", is it time for the diamond to be returned back to India - and should we hand back the Crown Jewels to their true owners?

There's a place in Mumbai...chor bazar...in England....British museum 😂
It's funny how she ends her argument admitting how they'll be left with nothing if they starts to return everything. 😂😂
We Irish want our stuff back as well
THIEVES ALWAYS TRY TO PRTECT THEMISELVES 🤣🤣
kohinoor was once on the statue of goddess bhadrakhali in bhadrakhali temple warangal, it was looted from there. It is a huge huge huge curse.
The Kohinoor Diamond was found in present Andhra Pradesh State of India. It was never of Britishers. And Britain need not worry how we are going to protect it. Just give it back to us. Jai Hind.
Anyway , half of the Artifacts in British thieves Museum are from colonies around the world including India, Africa .....
Britain have no diamonds of their own to showcase. 😂
Kohinoor was originally taken from a temple in Andhra Pradesh in South India. Pakistan has nothing to do with it. Similarly Ranjit Singh, Nadir Shah, Ahmedad shah Abdali, Mughal Empire, have nothing to do with it either. Thieves and Bandits cannot claim ownership.
Not only the Crown Jewels, you should also return the 43trillion$ which you stolen from India.👐
This is the equivalent of stealing from someone and then telling them you can't give it back because they won't be able to take care of it. You don't get to make that decision for them. And it shows the sheer arrogance of the British.
Don't name just one historian who agrees with you.
British:-"hey Indians ,i have stolen your diamond ,come to London & have a look!"
It's not about the diamond. It simply shows the mean-mindedness of the British who think whatever they have stolen from other countries is now 'rightfully' theirs! And so they are shamelessly arguing about the ownership of things with those whose things they have stolen! Really?? BTW, India is already the 5th largest economy in the world surpassing Britain.
You know why Pyramids are still in Egypt and not in British thieves museum?
It seems Emma W met an imaginary Indian saying they don't want Kohinoor back. Well we do, it's Ours no matter how much you claim it's yours
This woman have my heart. Bring kohinoor to India ❤️
Every Indian want every artifacts which is stolen by the British and British Museum is only show that how rich the Indians are before colonization and they looted us.. we want everything🇮🇳
Chor bazar museum
Do they even know the history? Do you even know from where it was mined? Goodness what a ...😮😮
