  • Are the British biased against India and Hindus from India? Why do they dislike Indians so much? Is it because India is a rising power? One survey has found that British Indians are experiencing prejudice because of the British media's biased reportage on India. What gives?

Well one British writer wrote in his book. After the great depression and poverty in England, the British had a square meal when they landed in India. With out the looting and plundering of India Britain could been a rat bag. And they are slowly but surely getting there.

It's not just ill-relation between the UK and India.
But between the OPPRESSED and the OPPRESSOR!
It's about WHITE SUPREMACY AND COLONIALISM.
No matter, if it's the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, South Africa, or Israel, on one side, and the Natives of those countries, on the other side.
All have, more or less, similar stories.
Maybe Indian people are naive, and easy to manipulate. (it's not limited only to Indians, almost all or most of the oppressed people are naive, and easy to manipulate.)
Seeing, Indians' blind support for Israeli genocidal occupation of Palestine, is disappointing.
They don't see the similarity of the pain imposed on Indians by the UK colonialism, and the pain imposed on Palestinians by the Israeli colonialism
USA has been militarily involved with 191 countries!
That speaks volumes of the USA terrorism and criminality, while the USA is always accusing others of being terrorist.
Very well said: IT'S USA AND ISRAEL ARE THE AGGRESSORS; AND THAT HAS BEEN THROUGHOUT THEIR WHOLE DARK HISTORY.
No country has ever attacked the USA (except Japan in Pearl Harbor, which even that was set up by the USA, to get into the war)!
But USA has invaded 84 (out of the 194 countries recognized by the United Nations) and has been militarily involved with 191 of those.
      Can you imagine?
USA has been militarily involved with 191 countries!

There ia nothing wrong about that, isnt it? If we assume you are an IT engineer it is pretty obvious that you will try to live abroad and earn 3-4 times higher income compared to India. Ask these people if they will stay/ live there forever - no the majority of them will come back to India wit all their wealth which they have built up. And this is good for our country 😉.
I am a german citizen i was born and grown up in germany, but i have decided to live in India (holy indian soil 😊) in my mid 50s as i will be financially independent, until then i will have a business idea which i can start.

I have to admit you have made some good points. Brits from the ruling class are a bunch of hypocrites. They criticize Indian park rangers for shooting poachers (which I think is justified). But these same people refuse to condemn British soldiers for killing innocent civilians during the troubles in Northern Ireland. This is a known fact. I had colleagues from Northern Ireland who actually knew men who were unjustifiably shot and killed by British soldiers during this conflict. All of this was very carefully covered up by the British media and the British government. British media coverage of India needs to be more balanced and professional.

To admit to giving credit to Indians for their achievements is an admission of white anglo-saxon British peoples decline in a big way these days in influence and power on the world stage. Neither can guardians white anglo saxon liberal british readers or their media writers admit. that they have much reduced status and importance in the world. There are very few journalists in the British media, and they are relegated to the fringes. Most of those who call themselves journalists are state/corporate propagandist who filter and frame the public discourse in the interests of the rich and powerful. Regarding British bias against Indians, I know it exists among the 'Little Englanders' who still mourn the loss of empire, and having lived and worked in multicultural areas, I know that some of my Indian colleagues and friends have been subjected to unpleasant racism, and been deliberately targeted, threatened, and humiliated by racist police officers. Given that racism is symptom of ignorance, it seems that we still have a long way to go before we can be considered to be genuinely homo sapiens.

They realized that I was a novice who reached their country without any knowledge or preparation. They took care of me and treated me like they would do for their own siblings. The policemen, taxi drivers, hotel staff - they were all very helpful. Such wonderful people. The only problem was while returning, at the airport during security checks. Why should we care if they like us or not? Even expressing concern over someone liking us or not should never bother us. If we are expressing concern over them disliking us is a sign of the fact that we are disconnected with our cultural roots and cultural pride. Abandon everything English (including their language) and see the difference. I am already noticing the difference in my life myself. I have decided to abandon the English language and I am noticing that I have automatically started to make peace with myself. Sorry for writing in English. Actually this Logitech keyboard of mine does not give a direct option to type in Hindi. I'll try to figure out and then type in Hindi. I am sharpening my Hindi skills and also going to take up a course in Sanskrit soon. The more you distance yourself from everything English (including their language, culture or Sanskriti and their English way of thinking) and get close to your Sanskriti (including language, culture, way of thinking), the less it will bother you what some foreigner thinks about you. Just try to be the best version of yourself and focus on your personal development. Take part in your cultural activities like Lohri, Makar Sankranti, January 22 event (big event), Holi, Ekadashi (every month), Diwali, Dusshera etc. and you will start noticing that nothing will affect you deeply about whatever someone of other culture or race is thinking of you. For example, I don't care about what Africans or Latinos or Central Asians or even West Asians think of me. So, why should it even bother me even a little bit about what Caucasians think of me? Once I am deeply attached with my language, local customs, local culture, local festivals, and local food firmly, it gives me a great deal of confidence and deep satisfaction in being deeply content with who I am and what I stand for and that nothing can shake me no matter what. So, get rid of English language and English ways of thinking and get closer to every aspect of your roots be it language, food, clothing, festivals, music, dance, arts, crafts, literature, fashion etc.

It's a complex answer to the British hatred of Indian Hindus.
Essentially, it boils down to the 'unfinished agenda' of the global British 🇬🇧💂🌎 Empire, the 'untimely' demise of which was caused by the Indian Freedom Movement.
Now with Russia, Africa and the Islamic World offering active resistance the British are resentful of Modern India 🇮🇳 withdrawing from its cause.
Three words capture the essence of the British attitude towards Indians and Hindus: Fear, loathing and utter contempt.
In a further comedy of errors the British have now anointed a 🕉️Hindu-Churchill🕉️ Rishi Sunak to the highest political office of the PM. That he's a Hindu 🕉️ is a cover-up of British guilt and ressentiments. That he should also be a nuclear ☢️ Churchill and stand up to Putin over Ukraine is an exercise in utter folly and collective self deception.

One poor farmer was standing holding his cow, outside a cabin where there were 2 scientists from US and Russia sitting in their suits.
But there are farmers in US and Russia also, and they are not considered poor downtrodden farmers. Why?They wear hats, shirts and trousers. But the Indian farmer ties cloth turban because he cant buy hat and wears dhothi because he cant afford a trouser or dont know how to stitch a pant and he wears kurti which the westerners wear as night dress.
      So he is poor farmer.
Westerners give lot of importance to dressing and change styles every season. And they have graduation courses in fashion designing also.
But here we are busy imposing 7000year old sari upon women by teaching them wearing sari and dhoti is the ultimate way of preserving indian culture.

The second point which I would like to bring to attention and which all responsible hindu boys and men should take seriously is look at the travel videos around Asia (for eg.Harry Jaggard Travel).showing the streets of Old Delhi,Mumbai etc.and compare it with the streets of Vietnam,Thailand or even Bangladesh and Pakistan. They are all kept clean compared to Old Delhi,Mumbai etc.Since the majority is hindu here, clearly the politicians, officials,Dist.collectors etc.are all majority hindu.and it indirectly gives impression of our religion, culture, standard of education etc.The local politicians, corporation members, officials are all saving the money to be spent for scavengers and waste collectors to save in Swiss Banks or they give extremely scanty wages to local scavengers that people are reluctant to work as scavengers.Westerners are very particular about tidiness and discipline.
Look at all the street vendors in Thailand,Vietnam,China etc. They all wear gloves and use tongs, spoons, fork etc.while handling food, whereas in India they are not.The Health Inspectors in India is just to buy salary at the end of month.
As long as the local govt.and officials are careless and ignore these basic things,it will only be tarnishing Hinduism because here the majority of leaders and people are hindus.

The main damage the English did was colonizing the Indian mind with inferiority complex to damage self confidence and keep Indians down. And turning Indians against each other with mostly misleading narratives of oppression, marxism, fabian socialism, structuralism (now called post modernity, structural marxism, critical theory, wokeness). These made India poor and they still live in the colonized Indian mind.

If India wants to have more influence on the globe, it has to be least reliant on technology from west. Currently, we are like Taiwan; manufacturing base with no R&D or IPR. Adar Poonawala made vaccine for COVID in Pune only because Astra Zeneca transferred the technology from UK. As far as quality of healthcare is concerned, India has a loooooooooooong way to go. Dont mistake me; India needs to be self-reliant on the technologies. Otherwise, like the way the western allies pulled the carpet underneath the feet of chinese, next it will be India.

@@hulkfromhull Comment of great sagacity, wisdom and foresight.
We Indians have to break out of this mindset of 'gung ho', fantasy, and cock-eyed vision.
It is so heartening for me, to read your comment and hope that more people like you come forward.
But the 'Elephant in the room' is ignored by all, I mean all Indians of the new mould: CORRUPTION. The entire bureaucratic establishment, all 'PSU's, Nationalised Banks and like are One and All a well entrenched Organised Crime Syndicate. We will remain a medieval 'braggart state ' unless we get to dismantle this gargantuan Criminal Enterprise.

The Brits are steeped in the colonial times when they could command everything. They can't accept the fact that we Indians not only ousted them from Bharat but managed to come out of the shambles they left us in and became an economically successful democracy. In their case, 'the grapes are sour'

The shambles, the Brits left India with a working democracy, schools, government, education, and a railway that worked.
China at the same had nothing.
But in the same time China has advanced far beyond India, and is indeed building railroads in India.
It seems this news channel has a big chip on its shoulder.
Win would be better reporting on corruption and the treatment of women in India.

We Brits left of our own accord.
Remember we conquered India with a few thousand soldiers, what does that tell you.
We then civilised you, schools, roads, trains, government, democracy etc, in the time since we have left you have been overtaken by China a country that had far less than India did in 1947, China is now rebuilding the railways we Brits built 100+ years ago.
Your attention might be better spent on sorting out corruption in India and why women are raped and killed on a daily basis whilst your corrupt police do nothing.

British only left because Indo British soldiers started a war, and they started attacking British soldiers. To avoid more blood shed, they had to announce freedom of india
