I keep forgetting how stunning this game looks for managing to keep the style so well.
As somebody who grew up with the original trilogy back in the day, the only issue I have with the visuals is they messed up the colored Spyro cheats.
For those unaware, in the original games the codes were a filter over Spyro that actually looked really good, while in these remakes they basically just swapped the entire base texture into a solid color, making Spyro look like cheap rubber.
I do like that they added codes for giving him his sunglasses or a retro look though.

I'm glad Ray enjoyed this more than he enjoyed the N.Sane Trilogy.

I like them both a lot but I definitely prefer Spyro. It’s not as hard/cheap as some of the levels in Crash. Specifically Crash 1. I still have nightmares about that fucking bridge.

No. The original Spyro was voiced by a gentleman named Carlos Alazraqui.
@@LordAnubisGaming Only in the first game. Tom Kenny voiced Spyro for Spyro 2, 3, and Enter The Dragonfly, then returned for Reignited and voiced the Spyro 1 lines as well.
Fun fact, Carlos Alazraqui played Deputy Garcia in the Comedy Central show Reno 911.

It still confuses me too. Just a random sound clip playing from nowhere and it, as far as I recall, only ever played in this part of the game playthrough. In the last 4 years of streaming. 🤷🏻♂️

The funny thing is, in the manga, Duke Devlin actually have to run a cafe after his whole game shop and Dungeon Dice Monsters game got burned down due to his crazy clown father (the manga is more insane than the anime). You can see it in The Dark Side of Dimensions movie.

I spent literally hours trying to complete the skater race… that was the last thing I needed for full completionist and it took HOURS to get first place
ahhhh my favourite streams of ray’s so far, not that im bias or anything pfffff (Spyro was my childhood 🤪)
Spyro 3 is literally the only Spyro I've played, and yeah the skateboarding is pretty rough. Not so bad the first 1-2 times but after that I just want to die. The speedways on the other hand... I loved those.
If I see the trilogy on sale on Steam again (it happens fairly freqquently) I might get it just because of how good it looks, instead of polygonal. Will have to try to drag myself away from Forager though.

I loved this remake. I think this is how you do a remake, nothing feels drastically different from the original just better controls/camera/graphics. It's great.

I had a double Ripto too when I played the game! I also died so Idk what happens if you beat them both. I'm curious though.

It's a glitch that's exclusive to the Reignited version of Spyro 2, and a few clips went around TH-cam at the time of the game's release as well. From the Fandom wiki:

The glitch occurs during the Ripto's Arena boss battle at the end of the first round. The player will have to flame or charge Ripto in the milli-second right after his health bar has reached zero and before the cutscene with Robo-Gulp plays. As a result, Ripto will run away. An alternative will be that Ripto gains a power-up as the next phase is about to begin. This will also allow for the power-up to be used during the cutscene.
This will cause the battle to have two Riptos. One that rides on Gulp and one that runs around the arena like in the first round. Both Riptos are capable of doing damage to Spyro, and both can pick up the special orbs as well.
The second Ripto will also continue to run around in the third phase with the Robo-Bird, as if the arena was still there.
