I feel that in general the minifigures were a let-down given that most are reused or downgraded versions of originals. The 2021 Flying Lesson really grew on me because it didn't have Harry, Ron or Hermione in it and had what was at the time a fairly diverse amount of characters. Draco only in recent times has been in more affordable sets but back in 2021 I believe that was one of my first Draco figures. Madam Hooch and a golden Quirrel were also unique at the time, especially given that Quirrel was in a set out of my price range. However, there's no real appeal for the figures this time, Oliver Wood is a bit bland too.
I am liking that I can fold these sets to save shelf space. Hagrid's Hut, the potions class and now the new Flitwick set and this set being folded up is actually a great idea. Whether I'll get this set at some point is a hard one. Probably when it's a lot cheaper. How many tiles do you get with this set?
I also recognized the Transfiguration classroom. But I hope they will do a more detailed version, like they did with Charms and Potions. To me it felt like they needed something to fill the gap and it already had McGonagall in it, so it would fit.
Im definitely going to display this closed up when i get my hands on it. I love the exterior of the set. It looks really good. And i am happy to see Oliver again
Yes, it's well-designed in the fact that it can be arranged into multiple arrangements and represents all the key moments from the movie scene but given its placement in the back of the castle grounds (which were minimized in the later films) it's not at all crucial for the creating the iconic Hogwarts silhouette.
As much as i wished we could get a better expansion set for the great hall i cant wait for the great tower and gryffindor common room. But i really god a question i want to get one big set the burrow, diagon alley or the gringotts bank. Which one would you recommend when it comes to value for your money?
It's really too expensive for what it is, and given the number of pieces, and especially for the figurines, which I already have in a much nicer version. I won't spend my money on this set 👎, maybe at 50 €, like I got Hagrid's motorbike at 42 € 👍. Thanks for the video 👍
I’m just not gonna bother with this system. Its way to expensive and seems to have absolutely no plan. (It will take 1.5 years and 500$ until we have the basic great hall+tower setup)
$80 for that? C'mon lego...until the Tower is released hopefully pulling together these pieces then I'm not investing in what appears will be a $1000 hogwarts😢😢😢

First mcgonagal figure to have no skirt printing. They had that in 2002, but not 2025.

I cant waitt for the new tv series and the sets they will inspire. Since, i hope, they will show us places that never were filmed.
Great review!
