The combination of biblical scholarship and archaeological information to me is so wonderful. It helps me put things into place that didn’t always make sense. Thank you guys so much for this channel.

Great stuff! This caused me to look more closely at the story of Lot and Sodom. Not sure if you guys were implying this, but Gen 13 says that Lot "lifted up his eyes" and saw that it was like the "garden of the LORD." This seems to point back to Eden ("garden of the LORD") where Eve sees that the fruit is a "delight to the eyes." Lot is also cast out of Sodom as God destroys the city by fire which seems to point back to Eden which becomes inaccessible to Adam and Eve and protected by a flaming sword.
Later, Lot's daughters entice him to drink wine (fruit) and get drunk which leads to incestuous (cursed) offspring, which points back to Adam being enticed to partake of the fruit of the tree by his wife, which then leads to cursed offspring.
This also happened to Noah and Jacob (drunkenness leads to an unintended sexual experience which then leads to cursed offspring)
So many parallels and repeating patterns throughout Genesis!

Dont read into and twist scripture. That is called improper use of hermeneutics and eisegesis.

Melchizedek is from Salem. But it mention later that Abraham was to sacrifice Isaac on mtn moriah which is right there so there is not city I don’t think for him to have come from at that time. I may be mistaken. But it makes sense that the king priest came from the city of heaven to bless Abraham. Because Zion and moriah are next to each other and I don’t think he would have done a sacrifice in eye view f a city right? Lmk 22:07

Is it possible that Abraham ask God to spare if there were X righteous people to suppose he is pleading about Lot?

a 1000 Hiroshimas and up the volume. A quick Google search shows a hill/mound for the site of Sodom, but I do not see craters, as that is what my laymen's mind would expect to see?

I was wondering that myself. They are a mostly unknown channel and probably for a good reason. They twisted lots wife being turned into a pillar of salt as well. They insert their own interpretation instead of taking God at His word.

I've heard that Melchizedek is Shem. From the days of Noah. I don't think he just appeared like The Angel of the Lord. No one knew where he came from because no one knew his family he was always there. He looked like a Son of God because he was from the time before the flood.
    Hebrews 7:3 ESV
[3] He is without father or mother or genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but resembling the Son of God he continues a priest forever.

That’s a fascinating perspective! The idea that Melchizedek could be Shem has intrigued believers for a long time, especially given Shem’s long lifespan, which could mean he was still around in Abraham’s day. The mystery around Melchizedek in Hebrews 7:3-being “without father or mother” and “resembling the Son of God”-adds to the intrigue, suggesting he was a unique figure meant to point forward to Christ’s eternal priesthood. Whether Melchizedek was Shem or a distinct figure altogether, his presence as a priest of the Most High God beautifully foreshadows Jesus’ eternal priesthood. Thank you for sharing this insight; it adds so much depth to our understanding of God’s plan across generations. God Bless!

      The Word Became Flesh
      John 1:1-5
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Jesus Christ is the king of Kings and the Lord of Lords. John 14:6. Yahweh is Gods name. He is a God for all people who will repent and trust in Christ.

God turned Lot's wife into a pillar of salt. Jesus came and said be the salt of the earth. 🧩 🗝️ Might hurt. But it kills the infection. Revelation in the end times will come about because there's not enough "salt" on the earth. There's an order to things but the twinkling of the eye , he will come like a thief in the night is left and said there's no" date".. of that -due to our generations and how we live that will be written accordingly.

That was a stretch. You had to contort scripture like a pretzel to get where you did.
