How to Heat Flame Stainless steel to get awesome blue and purple colors!!!!

It is always important to clean your material and make sure you are using the right safety equipment, when operating flame torches and touching hot metal.

    Quick tip. Don't move the torch around so much. Best to heat the pipe all over. Then stay in one spot. Once it starts to brown/gold.. The slowly move in the direction you want to blu. Iv done 30,40 exhaust pipes over the years. When you move it around. It loses temp fast. Takes only a few seconds to heat past your desired colour. Use a smaller torch if you're trying to blu a weld line. Much cleaner look. Cheers.

      Does it last like titanium or it loses the color fairly quickly... some months after??

    Very helpful! Clearly I haven't had the metal I've been flame painting clean enough; your results demonstrate the importance of working with a really, really clean surface.

    does not work on my bike stainless steel exhaust pipe, it forms randomly brown dark and some spots are blue, it is not like shown in video sadly :( Idk why

    You have to polish it or it’s gonna look really faded

    Nice video but one question! Do your wives let you waste so much money on gear head stuff? Don't get me wrong I dig it. But I have a family and they need things too
