Great video! I think there is a drain for this purpose, but i could be wrong. Only reason that I know is that I have to replace mine and there is a blocked port that someone mentioned was to drain. Have you done the video on pressure testing?
Awesome video! I have water in my intercooler as well spitting into my motor… I pressure tested the intercooler @ 20psi and the is no leaks at all… any advice?! Thanks.
Try warming your intercooler with a heat gun be careful but see if pressure drops when warm.otherwise I would say it's a condensation thing if pressure tests are OK. If you clean and dry out your inter cooler then run your ski on the hose take off the intercooler hose at the throttle body and rev ski to check if water sprays out if it does replace intercooler if it doesn't your good to go! Hope this helps
I have used my GTX 300 last summer. The whole winter it stood under the cover. Should I look for water in intercooler before riding it again this summer? It is not in the maintenance plan from Sea-Doo?
I just did this on my 2, 2022 gtx300 limited, about how long before I do it again? I also changed the plugs on both it’s funny they both fouled out at about the same time..
Hmmmmmmm, I am seeing this a little bit more since I've just started gaining interest in jet skis. Would it be a product defect? Perhaps upgrading the intercooler? Just a couple of thoughts.
Not at all mate completely normal this is not defective by any means simply condensation build up I pressure test the intercooler if its excessive. You can get a little water ingested via aftermarket intake systems also.
It really depends on how you ride and when. I'm always up in the rpm range and a little humid here so every 20ish hours or so. It's important to know that you should pressure test whenever you see water in there to make sure it is condensation and not a leak. I'll have a video on that soon too!

No drain plug I have a set up.to test for leaks will golem to making video soon. Spring has just begun for us!

Going to have look at this I’ve been getting some rough running unable to get top speed . I suspect it might be this thanks .
I find more often than not spark plugs bad fuel or water in the inter cooler if it sputters check these first

Never a bad idea to check

I do every 15 to 20 hrs the hard you ride the more often all depends on humidity

@@jetskilee86 what about upgrading the inter cooler with a quality aftermarket replacement?
I had an aftermarket on my last ski still happened we live in a humid environment
Would water end up in the oil if that much water got in the intercooler?
Nit at all that had built up over a while due to our humidity however if your intercooler was leaking could very well end up mixed.hope this helps
if you use the air intake you have now, you will always have water in the IC.
Agreed 👍 that's the weigh up I guess!
How often do you do this? What’s the temp. of the water you ride in?

@@jetskilee86 thank you!
You're welcome
Your intercooler may have a leak
Pressure tester all ok only needs cleaning every 20hrs or so we live in a humid environment
The intercooler is leaking
Not in my case it's not mine is condensation only they all get it. I leak test every intercooler.
this is terrible that you have to do this on new machine's!!
I totally agree
I think we need a drain of sorts to bleed this. Garbage design.
That would be a great idea!
