Great video as always, and thanks for the explanations! When I dry fitted my catch can on my 2019 GTX 300 ltd it appears it will block the battery. It was hard to tell in your video if you have the same issue. Also looks like the can is not straight up and down?

Great video! I think there is a drain for this purpose, but i could be wrong. Only reason that I know is that I have to replace mine and there is a blocked port that someone mentioned was to drain. Have you done the video on pressure testing?

Have a scarab with the seadoo engine in it when I first got the boat I went to change the plugs and they were covered in oil I was super confused. Come to realize everytime I start the boat after it sitting it smokes on start up. 20 hours later the plugs failed ( assuming because all the oil that has been on them ) my mechanic told me to do this although I am nervous to do this job

I just removed my top deck and I’m trying to figure out where the bulge trailer tube runs to? It connects to the siphon, comes up and has an elbow followed by a check valve with a connector on it as if it hooks up somewhere, does the check valve just sit in the bottom of the hull? Thanks

Why did they need a new driveshaft? The replacement seal/boot/clips are 30$

I just did this on my 2, 2022 gtx300 limited, about how long before I do it again? I also changed the plugs on both it’s funny they both fouled out at about the same time..

Would water end up in the oil if that much water got in the intercooler?

Nice setup! Do you think the intake setup changes the AFR much? I've had my rxpx for a while but just started some mods after the intercooler shit the bed. I have experience tuning motorcycles with fuel injection and carburation and always had to make significant changes to get the AFR correct after eliminating the air boxes running aftermarket filters. I just rcvd a Map X and license but don't have any data logging ability. I know you can do logging and have Riva Racing dial your map in so i'll probably set up for logging in the future. Until then i'll download an existing map from Riva and keep an eye on my plugs. I'm probably over thinking this but i hate to run engines lean.

I have used my GTX 300 last summer. The whole winter it stood under the cover. Should I look for water in intercooler before riding it again this summer? It is not in the maintenance plan from Sea-Doo?

I pulled mine out to remove the stones that caught in the impeller. The ski is less then a month old and I never used locktite on the bolts. I hope that I will be ok to head out tomorrow with out using it.

if i do this it would void my warranty?

I tried following the instructions given by several posters and none worked for getting the bucket into the forward position out of water. I have a 2013 wake pro 215. What I ended up doing was simply starting the engine, immediately put the bucket into forward position (same as if you were in the water) and then shut off the engine. Simple and effective.

Those short bolts are a real pain. My dealer didn’t have longer bolts but they did have a larger/taller block style nut that made up the extra space needed for the bolt threads to catch. Good informative video!

You are a live saver. Experiencing rough idle and misfires from my 2019 GTX Limited 300 with 30 hours on it. Dealer did a service on it with new spark plugs but didn‘t empty out the intercooler. Now I‘m searching all possibilities and will likely follow your path of your GTX videos and empty/dry out the intercooler and check if my plugs are maybe also drenched in oil, if so replace those tubes and get a catch can on there asap

What's the purpose of removing the spark plug cap? I've never heard of that.. never changed plugs on a jet ski either.

if you use the air intake you have now, you will always have water in the IC.
