  • After spending the morning hiking the Cadini di Misurina (part one!) we spent the afternoon hiking the Tre Cime Di Lavaredo (part 2!)
    Just when we think the Dolomites can't get any better, the Tre Cime Di Lavaredo track blows us away. We weren't sure which track to take - there are at least 3 tracks to choose from which we run through the options in this vlog, we somehow ended up on a rather rocky track all the way around the peaks! We visit World War I tunnels which we didn't know even know existed there, and also end up being the only people left on the hike as it nears to sunset.....

    WHO WE ARE:
    We are Alex & James. Originally from the UK, but also citizens of Australia after living there for 5 years. When we left the UK in 2014, we quickly caught the #travelbug and began making memories through video and photo. Our Instagram is where this all began for us @twosometravellers but our love for video is where we really love sharing our adventures.
    In 2014 we left the UK to go travelling.
    In 2015 we moved to AUSTRALIA.
    In 2016 we got engaged in HAWAII.
    In 2018 we got married in the PHILIPPINES.
    In 2019, we decided to chase our dreams! We quit our jobs, sold our belongings and booked a one day ticket to Asia.
    We’re so thankful to be able to live something we love every day and share with you all our previous and upcoming adventures! :)

    the hike Cadini di Misurina in combination with a climb to monte paterno (with the ww1 tunnels) with descending via sasso di sesto is the most scenic spectacular

      Thank you so so much for your super kind words! It means the world! 5 days is awesome, that's roughly how long we had there. We visited during the same time July/August so hopefully lots of nice weather for you!

    Can you remember if you had any troubles getting a car park in Rifugio Auronzo n the afternoon ?

    • @TwosomeTravellers
      @TwosomeTravellers  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! We parked up in the morning at 8am and so not sure what it would look like in the afternoon. Some campervans may be leaving from the night before around 11am (check out time) so that might be a good time. Otherwise, it is a huge parking area! But it does get busy :)

    nice video, you too are great! Going there in June myself...how did you find the camper? have you any tips? booked an indie camper same as yours.....that place looks amazing, I can't wait

    • @TwosomeTravellers
      @TwosomeTravellers  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      June! That's real soon, you must be excited! The camper was super, it was very basic but it had everything we needed for an easy trip. I would recommend downloading Park4night to help you find places to stay in the evening. You can check out our blog as we also cover everything in here :) www.twosometravellers.com/post/the-ultimate-italian-road-trip

    great video ! we want to do it in august with our 4x4 and roof tent. Where do you recomend to park at night? It looks crowded :(

    • @TwosomeTravellers
      @TwosomeTravellers  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We recommend parking in the car park with everyone else. It’s the safest place and the only designated area you are allowed to sleep in your vehicle in the national park. 🙏🏼

    Hello both, thank you for your videos, they are super helpful and you have saved me so much time. I have one question, in case you see it! Are there any facilities in the car park? Thanks again :)

      @TwosomeTravellers  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So glad they are helpful for you! I don't remember there being any facilities in the car park, however we could have missed them!

      If you will park at the main car park (a busy one) then next to the car park there is Rifugio Auronzo. you can order something to eat and use the toilets when needed

    • @TwosomeTravellers
      @TwosomeTravellers  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Perfect! Yes that’s right the Rifugio is there :)

    Hello, my kid is 6 years old. Is it easy to walk please? From Cappella degli Alpini ( the church) can we see the Three picks already? Thank you

    • @TwosomeTravellers
      @TwosomeTravellers  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Niki, some of it is easy to walk yes, particularly the first hour the path is very wide and people were walking it with prams. When you get to the second rifugio you can make a judgement yourself, but on the whole we saw lots of families doing this walk :)
