Just because someone is not as well spoken as you doesn't make them "thick" or an "idiot". He's not as used to speaking in these situations as the interviewers are. Maybe he bit off a bit more than he could chew being a spokesman, but I felt sorr that he wasn't allowed to speak without being interrupted. And all that about whether he had insulated his home was irrelevant and just there to wind him up.

If you want to protest go to China, America, India, Russia, this country lets out 2% of world carbon emissions, every new house built has to meet strict insulation u value, we have more wind farms out at sea then most countries, electric cars and bikes are on the rise every manufacturer makes electric vehicles now, ULES out to M25, and lots of other towns doing the same, I think this country is one of the leading countries, so go and protest somewhere else get of our roads

At 73 I have lived with the threats of atomic bombs ,the Big Freeze, The great flood and Thumbergs prediction for 2020. I,m still here waiting but have had a good life instead of wasting it on glueing myself to the road and hurting people.I have two grandsons so yes I fear for the future but I would not put guilt on them that people were hurt or died for people who act like terrorists holding the country to ransom on the chance they MAY be right THIS time.

And the reason he is willing to risk lives on this without insulating his own home first, is that he is risking lives of OTHERs, not his own. He sits comfortably at home on his underwear scrathing his testies, and enjoying the chaos he cooked up. They should be put to jail on same basis as someone demanding billion dollars or hostages are gonna die, but then saying the money goes to good cause.
And why not? Some people need insulation before themselves. Is that not a good cause?
